On June 14th, within the framework of the 2024 Job Fair in Dak Lak Province, the Communication Department of the State Bank of Vietnam, in collaboration with the Labor and Trade Union Magazine, organized the "Financial Literacy" program, attracting a large number of workers.

A large number of workers participating in the program
The program was organized to help workers in Dak Lak Province, especially students, to early access and enhance their understanding and knowledge of financial banking. This contributes to the implementation of the National Comprehensive Financial Strategy to 2025, with an orientation to 2030 of the Government, as well as Government projects such as the "Project to Enhance Access to Banking Services for the Economy," the "Project to Develop Non-Cash Payments in Vietnam for the period 2021-2025," and the "Project to Promote Payments via Banks for Public Services."

The Communication Department of the State Bank of Vietnam sharing at the program
At the program, experts from the Communication Department of the State Bank of Vietnam shared knowledge and organized mini-game contests, providing useful and interesting information about the history of Vietnamese currency, the value of money, various forms of payment, and some important notes in non-cash payments in a lively, simple, easy-to-remember, and easy-to-understand manner with widespread reach.
Through this, workers were able to grasp basic financial knowledge, understand the history of Vietnamese currency, and learn how to handle money. This also helped change their awareness, behavior, and foster good financial habits, contributing to protecting consumers using financial services, minimizing risks for people and society, and creating good financial habits in the community.
