10,000 Job Positions Recruited at the 2024 Job Fair (24/06/2024, 15:17)

On June 14, at the Dak Lak Provincial Employment Service Center, the Labor and Trade Union Magazine, in collaboration with the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, and the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation, organized the 2024 Job Fair.

This meaningful and practical event is aimed at commemorating the 120th anniversary of the founding of Dak Lak Province (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024) and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024).

Attending the fair were Ms. H’Yim Kdoh, Vice Chair of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Tran Duy Phuong, Editor-in-Chief of the Labor and Trade Union Magazine; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Director of the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs; Mr. Le Van Thanh, Chair of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation; along with representatives from various units, enterprises, and workers in the province.

In her speech at the event, Ms. H’Yim Kdoh stated that Dak Lak has a substantial labor force, accounting for 58.74% of the province's population. In recent times, the task of "job creation" has been a priority for the provincial Party committees and authorities, identified as one of the top priorities in the province's socio-economic development strategy. Organizing the 2024 Job Fair presents an excellent opportunity for recruitment units to select suitable labor according to their needs and job positions, contributing to the province's target of providing employment to 150,000 workers during the 2021-2025 period.

The 2024 Job Fair, themed "Connecting Employment - Career Orientation - Stepping Confidently into the Future," attracted over 1,000 workers, students, and others from across the province; 30 businesses, units, and vocational training centers offering 10,000 job positions in various fields and sectors both domestically and internationally (labor export to Japan, South Korea, Taiwan (China), Australia, Germany, etc.); and job connections with Employment Service Centers nationwide.

Recruitment units and businesses are hiring production workers, beauty technicians, spa staff, medical staff, bartenders, service staff, sales consultants, machine operators, accountants, managers, and marketing professionals. The largest target is for production workers, with 5,000 positions available.

Free job counseling and introductions for workers.

At the fair, workers were provided with information about recruitment needs within and outside the province, and labor export opportunities, helping them find suitable jobs matching their skills and qualifications; contributing to reducing unemployment, developing the economy, and maintaining social order and safety locally.

Additionally, workers received free job counseling and introductions; participated in the "Financial Knowledge" mini-game and the "Lucky Draw - Instant Prize" program.

Gifts for workers in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation awarded 50 gifts to trade union members facing difficulties in the province.
