Banana Brothers Farm Joint Stock Company (BBF Company) - M'Drak district - Dak Lak province has just held a ceremony to export 10 official containers of bananas to the Chinese market during Lunar New Year.

10 containers of bananas produced and processed by BBF Company in village 1, Ea Yeeng commune, M'Drak district, Dak Lak province. This export shipment is worth over 5 billion VND, with each container being 21 tons of bananas.

“To complete the first order in this new year, we and our workers run at full capacity, working all day and night to complete the order on schedule. This is also our first order of the year with the hope of bringing a lot of luck and happiness in 2023”, shared Ms. Le Thi My Hanh, General Director of BBF.

BBF Company started to plant nearly 150 hectares of old South American bananas in 2020 by high-tech tissue transplantation. The planting garden is designed according to a checkerboard to facilitate cultivation and harvesting. In order for South American bananas to meet export standards, right from the selection of varieties to planting, caring and harvesting, all strictly adhere to technical processes and circular production.

The company has officially exported to Korea, China and Japan with an output of over 6,500 tons.

Currently, banana products of BBF Company have been maintaining an average output of 65 tons/hectare/year. In 2022, the Company has officially exported to Korea, China, and Japan with an output of over 6,500 tons.

Workers process and pack before exporting

With the positive effects that the high-tech tissue transplant banana project brings, it is expected that in the following years, BBF will expand about 300 hectares of banana cultivation. The new raw material area will attract more workers to participate in the production process, create jobs for many local workers and contribute to job creation.

Attending the export launch ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Duong, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak province congratulated BBF Company for having a shipment of processed fruits for export right in the first days of the new year, being a good news for the local fruit processing industry.

Mr. Duong emphasized that the province's agriculture sector is actively restructuring in the direction of concentrated commodity production, application of high technology, and organic and multi-valued products. The relatively good growth of Dak Lak's export products to some important markets in recent times opens up many prospects, bringing economic benefits to both investors and farmers in the province.

Based on the great potential advantage of the raw material area, Dak Lak will continue to create favorable conditions for businesses to connect supply and demand, promote the domestic goods consumption market, especially for export, thereby helping to improve the quality of goods and services of Vietnamese agricultural products, contributing to the general economy of the country.
