The Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province has recently issued a press release regarding the organization of the High School Graduation Examination 2024 in Dak Lak province.
Accordingly, the High School Graduation Examination 2024 in Dak Lak province will be held from June 26-29, 2024, with 20,934 candidates registered to participate, including: 20,005 candidates currently in Grade 12 in the academic year 2023-2024 (High school education program: 18,714; Continuing education program: 1,291); 929 independent candidates (194 have not graduated, 735 have graduated); 11,118 female candidates; and 4,997 candidates from ethnic minority groups.

The examination in Dak Lak province will have 01 examination council with 33 official examination centers and 37 reserve examination centers located in 15 districts, towns, and cities throughout the province. The total number of examination rooms includes 893 official examination rooms, 66 reserve examination rooms, and 48 waiting rooms. The total number of examination supervisors, monitors, and service personnel at the examination centers is 3,024, including: Examination center leaders and secretaries: 240; Examination supervisors: 1,786; Waiting room personnel: 48; Monitors: 309; Security, medical, and service personnel: 429; Reserve personnel: 105; and Inspectors: 107.
The Department of Education and Training has directed educational institutions and examination centers to actively prepare in all aspects to ensure the organization of the examination is safe, serious, and of high quality.
High schools, multi-level general education institutions, regular education centers in the province, vocational education centers, and continuing education centers across the province have developed and implemented plans to review and prepare Grade 12 students for the High School Graduation Examination 2024 as guided by the Department of Education and Training to ensure effectiveness and quality with a high sense of responsibility. They have organized assessments and evaluations of students' learning outcomes to provide timely support solutions to ensure that students have sufficient knowledge and skills to participate in the examination.
Units have prepared physical facilities, equipment, and finances for organizing the examination in accordance with the guidance of the Department of Education and Training, ensuring all conditions regarding physical facilities and equipment at examination centers are met as stipulated, effectively serving the examination organization.
The Department of Education and Training has conducted training sessions on examination organization and examination inspection procedures for the teams participating in the examination as planned. High schools and regular education institutions have organized training sessions on examination supervision procedures for examination supervisors of their respective units prior to the examination. Examination center heads have disseminated examination regulations to candidates; implemented and disseminated examination supervision regulations to examination supervisors, teachers, and staff involved in examination supervision at examination centers; ensuring that all examination supervisors, inspectors, monitors, and service personnel are trained and familiar with examination regulations and procedures.
The provincial examination steering committee and district-level examination steering committees have directed agencies, units, organizations, and localities to actively coordinate with the education sector; proactively develop and implement plans to ensure security, order, and safety of transportation; ensure health, hygiene, and food safety... for the examination organization; enhance propaganda about the examination; strengthen efforts to mobilize organizations and individuals to support and assist candidates from policy beneficiary families, poor households, and residents in remote and mountainous areas, ensuring that no candidate misses the examination due to difficulties in economic conditions or transportation.
Inspection and supervision work is prioritized. The provincial examination steering committee and the Department of Education and Training have conducted inspections of preparation work for the examination at all examination centers across the province as planned; will continue to intensify inspections and supervision at all stages of examination organization to ensure the examination takes place safely and seriously.
As of the current time, preparation work for organizing the examination has been completed. Levels, sectors, agencies, organizations, and localities continue to actively coordinate with the Department of Education and Training; strictly implement the Directive of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the plan of the Provincial People's Committee; strive for the successful organization of the High School Graduation Examination 2024 in the province.
