On the morning of December 20, the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and Agriculture and Environment, officially inaugurated the Fair-Exhibition of Typical Rural Industrial Products and OCOP Products, integrated with the 2025 Central Highlands Culinary Festival at the Provincial Cultural Center.

The delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially inaugurate the Fair-Exhibition of Typical Rural Industrial Products and OCOP Products, held in conjunction with the 2025 Central Highlands Culinary Festival.
In his opening remarks, Comrade Nguyen Van Nhiem, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, emphasized that the event serves as a vital trade bridge. It connects local enterprises and cooperatives with distribution networks, promotes regional specialties to consumers, and helps production facilities seek new partners and expand markets. Beyond commerce, the fair also honors traditional crafts and the unique culinary values of the Central Highlands.
Comrade Nguyen Van Nhiem, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak Province of the province, delivered the opening speech.
According to the organizing units, this year's Fair - Exhibition of typical rural industrial products and OCOP products associated with the Central Highlands Culinary Festival gathers more than 250 booths from over 100 businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities from 16 provinces and cities such as Vinh Long, Ca Mau, Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Da Nang, Hue, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, etc.; of which businesses and production facilities from Dak Lak Province participate with more than 100 booths.

Delegates toured the exhibition area and explored the various products showcased at the fair booths.
In addition to the product exhibition activities, during the event (from December 20 to 25), a series of other activities will be held, such as free serving of pancakes filled with ocean tuna; demonstrations of coffee roasting, weaving, and brocade weaving; a music night featuring songs by composer Bac Son; performances of traditional musical instruments; and music and dance performances, all organized to meet the visiting, shopping, and entertainment needs of local residents and tourists.
The organizing units also coordinate to ensure that the organization, display of goods, and other activities are conducted safely, securely, and environmentally friendly, helping residents access many quality products and experience the cultural and culinary values of the locality, thereby strongly promoting the image of Dak Lak Province.

From December 20 to 25, the fair will feature a series of other activities serving free visitors with pancakes filled with ocean tuna; coffee roasting demonstrations, cultural performances, and traditional musical instrument performances.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu An, Director of the Dak Lak Department of Industry and Trade, noted that the fair was strategically timed for the year-end, following the selection of typical ragricultural and rural industrial products across various localities. She emphasized that the event aims to provide a wide array of high-quality products to satisfy the surging shopping demand, particularly for the upcoming Lunar New Year. Beyond ensuring product quality, she highlighted that participating provinces have introduced their most characteristic specialties at highly competitive prices, offering residents access to unique goods from 16 different localities nationwide.Kim Bao
