60 projects with total investment capital of VND2.5 trillion invested in Dak Lak (01/12/2016, 16:43)

Dak Lak Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) revealed that investment attraction of the province in 2016 has achieved positive changes compared with 2015. There is an increase of investors coming to the province to learn about and register for their investment over the same period last year.


DPI estimates that the province will have attracted 60 projects with total investment capital of VND 2.5 trillion by the end of 2016. By the end of October, 2016, 50 projects (up to 10 projects against the same period last year) with total investment capital of VND 1,520 billion were invested in Dak Lak province. The number of projects approved for investment has increased by 22 percent. In the first ten months of 2016, 41 projects were approved for investment with the total registered capital of VND 2.2 trillion.

Since early this year, Dak Lak has received and guided investment procedures to foreign investors such as: a 405MW solar power project on Ea Sup Thuong Lake with a total capital of US$750 million invested by Solar Park Company, a 120 MW solar power project with total capital of US$ 150 million of Namu Accounting Company (Korea), surveys conducted by AES Group (The USA) to invest in solar power projects in Buon Don and Ea Sup districts with total investment capital of US$ 150-200 million, etc. In addition, domestic investors attach a special importance to learning about investment in solar power projects in Dak Lak including HD Investment JSC, Tan An Co., Ltd, Nam Viet Green Energy JSC, etc.

Investment projects have made a significant contribution to economic restructuring, creating jobs for labour force at localities, increasing budget revenues and socio-economic development of the province.
