Administrative reform inspection at the Ethnic Affairs Committee of Dak Lak province. (11/10/2024, 08:30)

On October 1st, the inspection team for administrative reform in 2024 of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, led by Comrade Hoang Manh Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, conducted an inspection of the results of administrative reform at the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee.

According to the report presented during the working session, the time for supervision, direction, and administration of administrative reform has been regularly and consistently implemented by the provincial Party Committee, the leaders of the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee. The unit has issued plans to implement the tasks assigned by the provincial People's Committee regarding administrative reform and timely issued directives on administrative reform. the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee has integrated the dissemination of administrative reform through administrative activities, meetings, and party meetings; strengthened the promotion of administrative reform on the Office's website; and participated in online competitions on administrative reform

Regarding administrative procedures in the field of complaints and denunciations, from 2023 to the present, the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee has received 13 administrative procedure files, including 9 denunciations and 4 complaints, and has resolved 100% of the files on time.

In terms of building and developing e-government, currently, 100% of the officials in the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee use official email to ensure professionalism and security in work exchange; 100% of the officials have been provided with official email accounts and regularly use them in the process of work exchange.

From 2023 to the present, the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee has received 13,432 incoming documents and issued 1,780 electronic documents on the iDesk software (100% of the issued documents are implemented in the form of electronically signed documents, except for classified documents), achieving a 100% rate of document exchange and processing on the network environment.  

In addition to the achievements, the process of implementing administrative reform at the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee still faces some difficulties, such as the lack of IT personnel; officials responsible for administrative reform and digital transformation still have multiple roles, affecting the effectiveness of administrative reform implementation.

After the inspection, the inspection team for administrative reform of the province recommended that the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee promptly overcome the limitations pointed out by the team. Specifically, it is necessary to focus on seeking and implementing innovative solutions for administrative reform; diversify the forms of disseminating administrative reform to enhance the awareness of officials and civil servants about the content, significance, and importance of administrative reform for the socio-economic development of the province; continue to identify administrative procedure reform as a focal task that needs to be directed and implemented in a transparent and accountable manner, shorten the time for handling administrative procedures, and further improve the quality of administrative procedure resolution, especially those directly related to the rights and interests of the people.
