In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (7/5/1954-7/5/2024), the working delegation from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, led by Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Buon Ma Thuot city, Tu Thai Giang, visited and presented gifts to Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, frontline workers, and families of martyrs who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign living in the city.

At the visited locations, members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Buon Ma Thuot city, Tu Thai Giang, and the working delegation kindly inquired about their health, presented gifts, and expressed profound gratitude to the Dien Bien soldiers, frontline workers, youth volunteers, and families of martyrs who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. They also affirmed that the Party, State, and province always highly value and recognize the contributions and sacrifices of martyrs, soldiers, and those who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, who devoted their youth for the independence and freedom of the nation. Furthermore, they requested all levels of Party committees and local authorities to continue to care for and better implement the "Gratitude for Favors, Repayment of Kindness" work for policy families and those who have contributed, especially families of martyrs, soldiers, youth volunteers, frontline workers who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Buon Ma Thuot Tu Thai Giang expressed the desire for former Dien Bien soldiers and their families to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition and the good qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers," being a spiritual support for future generations to follow, inheriting the traditions of their fathers and grandfathers, contributing intelligence and effort to build a homeland that is increasingly developed, prosperous, and civilized.
