On the afternoon of May 10th, the Provincial Women's Union organized the Closing Ceremony of the Women's Entrepreneurship Day and awarded prizes for the "Women's Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Green Transformation" competition in 2024.
The competition was launched by the Provincial Women's Union in February 2024 and received enthusiastic participation from various levels of Women's Unions, enterprises/cooperatives/associations, business households/start-ups, and female members across the province with 102 projects in various fields such as production, business, agricultural services, handicrafts, trade, and services.…

Special Prize awarded to the project from Buon Don district at the "Women's Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Green Transformation" competition in 2024.
After screening applications, 72 eligible projects participated in the preliminary round, and the Organizing Committee selected 20 outstanding projects for the Final Round to present their business startup ideas and answer questions from the Judges.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the Special Prize to the project "Production of wine and liquor from cashew fruit" by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tran (Buon Don district).

First Prize awarded to the project "Jobs for breastfeeding mothers" by Mrs. Nong Thi Huyen Trang (Buon Ma Thuot City) and the project "Handmade weaving of plastic belt mats" (Ea Kar district).
Second Prize awarded to the project "Utilizing coffee husks to make Cascara tea - contributing to increasing the value of coffee and bringing economic benefits" by Mrs. Lang Thi Net (Buon Ho town), the project "Production of plates and dishes from bamboo" by Mrs. Dao Thi Van (Buon Ma Thuot City), the project "Mud-free eel farming model" by Mrs. Dang Thi Hieu (Ea Sup district).
Third Prize awarded to the project "Wonderful cashews - Miracle of Vietnamese agriculture" by Mrs. Nguyen Phuong Thu, the project "Production of recycled bags from old jeans" by Mrs. Ly Thi Kim Binh (Buon Ma Thuot City), the project "Healthy living with seeds" by Mrs. Le Thi Kieu Lanh (Krong Nang district), the project "Startup with roasted brown rice tea" by Mrs. Hoang Thi Ngoc Yen (Ea Sup district), the project "Money cake mixed with nutritious seeds and job creation for women" by Mrs. Pham Thi Tuyet Linh (Krong Buk district).

Awarding Ceremony of the "Application of Information Technology in Union Activities" Competition
The "Women's Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Green Transformation" competition is an opportunity for women to exchange experiences, learn, gain more knowledge, and experience in entrepreneurship and business startup practices. It also aims to search for and select enterprises, cooperatives, associations, and business households led or participated by women with innovative ideas applied to improving production processes for new products and services or adopting new business models using renewable energy sources, producing according to organic, circular processes, environmentally friendly. From there, it promotes the connection of resources, links the startup ecosystem for women, maintains and develops the effectiveness of activities of enterprises and cooperatives managed by women, attracts sisters to participate in Union activities.
According to the assessment of the Provincial Women's Union, after two events, the Women's Entrepreneurship Day in 2024 has attracted the attention of many officials, members, women, and people from all walks of life in the province.
The event has provided motivation and spread the spirit of digital transformation, entrepreneurship, innovation for women; promotes the application of information technology, digital economy, linkage of entrepreneurial innovation ecosystems; introduces, promotes, projects, entrepreneurship products, and OCOP products of women members; creates opportunities for exchanging experiences between organizations, individual entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises in the province.

Commendation for the Movement "Building 5 No-Five Clean Families", "5 Have-Three Clean Families"
Mrs. To Thi Tam - Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, stated that the Union will uphold the proactive and creative spirit in guiding, implementing, and guiding grassroots levels to apply technology in activities and support entrepreneurship; focus on propaganda, mobilize women in the province to actively participate in the national digital transformation process; produce and trade safe and quality agricultural products for community health, sustainable development; closely coordinate with credit institutions to expand funding sources to support women members in starting businesses.
On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union has summarized and awarded prizes for the "Application of Information Technology in Union Activities" competition. After more than 03 months of launching the competition, the organizing committee received 75 entries from collectives, individuals who are members of the Women's Union and Union officials, honorary members in the province, the Jury selected 11 outstanding entries to award prizes at the event.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union commended and rewarded 8 collectives and 17 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the Movement "Building 5 No-Five Clean Families", "5 Have-Three Clean Families" for the period 2021 - 2024.
