Border Guard Forces of the Province Organize Swearing-in Ceremony for New Soldiers in 2024 (10/06/2024, 07:36)

On the morning of June 4th, at the Training and Mobile Battalion of the Provincial Border Guard Command, Dak Lak province organized the Swearing-in Ceremony for new soldiers in 2024. In 2024, the Provincial Border Guard Command of Dak Lak province was assigned to train 190 new soldiers. Among them, 70 new soldiers are from the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command and 120 new soldiers are from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command.

After 3 months of training, the unit diligently implemented the training plan and successfully completed the training tasks for new soldiers according to the basic training program of the Ministry of National Defense, ensuring compliance with the schedule, content, and duration of training. The new soldiers understand their responsibilities and obligations as border guards in the new situation, establishing disciplined, cultured, and conscientious lifestyles, gradually forming the qualities and personalities of border guard soldiers.

The training and development of new soldiers have yielded significant results, especially in military tactics and discipline enforcement; the training process ensured absolute safety in terms of personnel and equipment, with the training unit achieving a satisfactory rating.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Cong Tuan - Deputy Commander, also Acting Chief of Staff of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command emphasized that safeguarding national sovereignty and border security is a sacred and noble mission of the Party, the people, and the military as a whole, with the armed forces being the core, and the Border Guard Forces being the specialized force. To fulfill this mission, border guard soldiers must have strong political integrity, be proficient in military affairs, and be innovative and creative in all aspects of their work.

In the future, the Acting Chief of Staff and Acting Chief of Staff of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command requested units to continue to capitalize on the achievements, complete the specialized border guard training content, apply the knowledge learned creatively to the task implementation process, continue to cultivate disciplined behavior associated with building a bright, green, clean, and beautiful environmental landscape; always uphold the revolutionary vigilance spirit, actively participate in all unit movements, not fear difficulties, and be ready to accept and excellently fulfill any task upon completing the training course.

After the swearing-in ceremony, new soldiers will continue to undergo an additional 1.5 months of border guard professional training, focusing on legal knowledge, reconnaissance operations, anti-drug and crime prevention tasks, contributing to the firm protection of national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and border security in the new situation.

On this occasion, the Provincial Border Guard Command of Dak Lak province, the Provincial Border Guard Command of Khanh Hoa province, and the party committees, authorities of localities met, encouraged, and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of the Training and Mobile Battalion. Additionally, a memorial tree planting ceremony was organized at the unit.
