In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (7/5/1954 – 7/5/2024), the working delegation from Buon Don district led by Mr. Dang Van Bang – Head of the District Committee's Mass Mobilization Board, visited and presented gifts to veterasn who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign and are living in Buon Don district.
The delegation visited 2 veterans who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign, including Mr. Tu Duc Giang (hamlet 2, Tan Hoa commune) and Mr. Lo Thai Hoc (hamlet 3, Cuor Knia commune).

At each household, on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Dang Van Bang kindly inquired about the health situation, expressed profound gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of the martyrs and veterans in the cause of national liberation and reunification. At the same time, he hoped that the veterans would uphold and promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, revolutionary traditions, and be shining examples for future generations to follow.

The Dien Bien veterans sincerely thanked the district leaders, departments, agencies, organizations, Party committees, and authorities at all levels for their visits, gifts, and encouragement to their families. They also shared and recalled memorable memories, hardships, and heroism during the resistance against foreign invaders, especially during the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
