Buon Ma Thuot Business Association Connects with the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) (07/12/2023, 07:44)

On the morning of December 4th, a delegation from the Buon Ma Thuot Business Association visited and worked with the representative office of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) in Ho Chi Minh City.

The two organizations exchanged collaboration prospects.

The leadership of the Buon Ma Thuot Business Association included Mr. Nguyen Nguyet Phuong, General Director of Mekong Construction Joint Stock Company, and Mr. Le Duc Huy, General Director of Simexco Dak Lak. Welcoming the delegation, KITA had Mr. Lee Jeng Seck, Head of the representative office, and Mr. Seo Yu Cheon, Deputy Head of the representative office.

During the working session, both sides exchanged information on cooperation needs and proposed mutual support to boost foreign trade activities between businesses in Dak Lak province in general, Buon Ma Thuot city in particular, and businesses in South Korea

KITA presented souvenir gifts, Korean products, to the delegation from the Buon Ma Thuot Business Association.

At the end of the exchange session, both parties made commitments to collaborate on several aspects:  KITA will support promoting the introduction of Dak Lak's products to the Korean market and suggest that the Buon Ma Thuot Business Association assist in introducing Korean products to the Dak Lak market.

Provide information and consider support for the Buon Ma Thuot Business Association and the local government of Buon Ma Thuot city and Dak Lak province in organizing investment promotion events at Coex Seoul in the coming year if there is a demand from the local area.

Regularly connect with the Buon Ma Thuot Business Association to provide relevant information on trade promotion activities and investments for both sides.

The Buon Ma Thuot Business Association will support KITA in introducing Korean products at their exhibition, during weekly business coffee sessions, and in the association's product display area at domestic trade promotion events that the association participates in. Provide relevant information on local government policies to attract and call for investments to KITA and Korean businesses.

Support KITA in participating or organizing trade promotion programs in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province, and facilitate connections with neighboring localities.

At the end of the meeting, both parties exchanged representative products provided by their members. KITA expressed a desire to visit the local area and the Buon Ma Thuot Business Association as soon as possible.

The activities of the Representative Office of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) in Ho Chi Minh City focus on promoting trade and investment relations between Vietnamese and Korean businesses, with activities unrelated to promoting trade in goods and services in the security and defense sectors.
