Candidates evaluate the final exam of the High School Graduation Exam 2024 as suitable for students' abilities (04/07/2024, 09:43)

On June 28th, candidates from Dak Lak entered the last day of the High School Graduation Exam 2024. In the morning session, candidates took two combined subject exams: Natural Sciences and Social Sciences.

The combined exams took place simultaneously in the same morning session, and candidates were allowed to choose only one of the two exams. The Natural Sciences exam consisted of three sequential subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (each subject for 50 minutes), while the Social Sciences exam included History, Geography, and Civic Education (also 50 minutes per subject).

Traffic police guided relatives of candidates to park in safe locations.

After completing their exams at Chu Van An High School (Buon Ma Thuot City), candidates left the exam room feeling happy, relaxed, and confident about their performance. Regarding the Social Sciences exam, many candidates commented that the exam was manageable and closely aligned with the curriculum. Some mentioned that the exam was not particularly difficult but quite lengthy, with high classification levels: the first 30 questions were easier, while the subsequent questions increased in difficulty.

Candidates completed their combined subject exams at Chu Van An High School.

Nguyen Ha Ngoc Linh (Buon Ma Thuot High School) shared: "This year's exam seemed quite suitable for students' abilities. I did quite well in the exam. The Geography section was relatively easy, and I'm confident I scored 9 points. As for History, there were many questions about world history, with the last few questions being quite challenging. In Civic Education, I did well because I studied hard, and the questions were closely related to daily life, so I'm confident of achieving a high score."

Regarding the Natural Sciences exam, most candidates generally agreed that this year's exam was fairly suitable. However, it had a high classification level with increasing difficulty throughout the questions, especially towards the end. Mai Manh Duc Phat (Le Quy Don High School) said: "This year's exam was suitable for students, especially the Physics section, which was quite easy compared to my level of study, so I'm confident of scoring above 8 points. However, both the Biology and Chemistry sections had quite challenging questions, with a high classification level, but there were still quite a few easier questions at the beginning that could help students achieve good scores."

Candidates discussed their exams after completing them.

This afternoon (June 28th), candidates will take the Foreign Language exam, the final exam of the High School Graduation Exam 2024, with a 60-minute multiple-choice format.
