On the afternoon of June 3rd, the Central Coast and Central Highlands Red Cross Cluster, in coordination with the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Cu M'gar District and the local government of Cu Sue Commune, organized the inauguration and handover ceremony of a humanitarian project to residents in difficult circumstances in the area.

The ceremony was attended by Vice President of the Central Vietnam Red Cross Vu Thanh Luu, representatives from the Red Cross of Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces, benefactors, and local government representatives.
During the ceremony, the attendees inaugurated and handed over a humanitarian project, specifically a "compassion house," to the family of Mr. Trieu Quang Phong, residing in Hamlet 5, Cu Sue Commune, Cu M'gar District. Mr. Trieu Quang Phong's family is economically disadvantaged, classified as a poor household, with no stable income. His wife suffers from a severe illness, rendering her unable to work. Currently, the family lives in an old, temporary house.

The compassion house, built with a total area of 48 square meters, has a total value of 100 million VND. The Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces' Red Cross Cluster supported 50 million VND, the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Cu M'gar District contributed 30 million VND, and the remaining amount was provided by the family.

Donating gifts to families in difficult circumstances.
The handover of the "compassion house" to Mr. Trieu Quang Phong's family is a meaningful activity aimed at helping disadvantaged families stabilize their living conditions, ensuring they can focus on labor and production, thereby enabling them to overcome poverty. Additionally, the local government of Cu Sue Commune also presented essential household items to Mr. Trieu Quang Phong's family, such as a gas stove, a rice cooker, and a fan.

Donating bicycles to students.
On this occasion, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross also donated 20 gift sets to disadvantaged families in Cu Sue Commune, each set worth 500,000 VND. The transaction office of the Social Policy Bank in Cu M'gar District donated 2 bicycles worth 3 million VND to two students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have excelled in their studies in Cu Sue Commune.
