Charity Program “Love Connection – Lifting the Steps to School” 2016 (30/09/2016, 15:18)

On September 27, Tien Phong Newspaper in coordination with Vietnam Youth Union of Krong Ana district and Green Aspiration Club organized the charity Program “Love Connection – Lifting the Steps to School” 2016 in K’rang village, Dur K’man commune, Krong Ana district. The Program was attended by Miss Phung Bao Ngoc Van - “Miss Communication”, top 10 of Miss Vietnam 2016 pageant, Mr. Y Giang Gry Nie Knong – Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee and representatives of relevant Departments, sectors.

Bicycles are awarded to students

On this occasion, “Miss Communication” Phung Bao Ngoc Van awarded one loving house to Mrs. H’Nhi Eban – the woman having extremely difficult economic situation in K’rang village, Dur K’man commune. She also donated 18 bicycles, 18 sets of multi-purpose table, 5 scholarships (VND1 million for a scholarship) and 500 notebooks to poor students in the district. Additionally, Van supported VND15 million for Child Protection Fund of Dak Lak Province and VND15 million for Scholarship Fund “Young Banana Shoot” of Tien Phong Newspaper. The total amount of the program was estimated at VND120 million.

“Miss Communication” Phung Bao Ngoc Van was one of the two contestants who implemented the Project “Miss Humanity” held by Miss Vietnam 2016 pageant in Dak Lak province. During the implementation of Project at locality, she had understanding and sympathized with difficult situation of local people. Therefore, Miss Phung Bao Ngoc Van donated all her amount from the prize of “Miss Communication” and calling for more support of the community to return Krong Ana district and perform the charity Program “Love Connection – Lifting the Steps to school” aiming to share, encourage poor students and people.
