On the morning of May 31st, the People's Committee of Buon Don District organized a conference on Resolving to Win the Armed Forces Contest (LLVT) in the district for the period of 2019-2024.

Over the past 5 years, the Resolving to Win LLVT movement in Buon Don District has been regularly maintained, continuously expanded, with a focus on achieving and surpassing set targets, contributing to enhancing the comprehensive quality and combat strength of the armed forces. The implementation process of the Resolving to Win movement has always been associated with the movements of various grassroots organizations, building a team of politically steadfast and determined officers and soldiers of the district LLVT, ready to accept and fulfill all tasks.
The Party Committee - Military Command of the district has consistently nurtured and trained its team of officers in all aspects, while actively proposing candidates for training at military schools. Up to now, the proportion of officers with university and college degrees has reached 68.11% (an increase of 8% compared to 2018). Party building work within the reserve forces and self-defense militia has been given significant attention. Over the past 5 years, 30 party members have been recruited into the regular forces (exceeding the target by 107%); the proportion of party members in the reserve forces and self-defense militia is higher than in the previous period.
Buon Don District LLVT has effectively implemented the work of mobilizing the people, contributing to building a solid "people's heartland". The selection and recruitment of citizens for military service and annual military recruitment campaigns have been closely and strictly implemented, meeting 100% of the targets; the quality of recruits has been higher than in previous years. The military policy and military rear support work have always been emphasized; effective solutions have been actively implemented to resolve post-war legacy issues according to Decisions 290, 142, 62, 49 of the Prime Minister, with a total amount of over 1.2 billion dong. The commendation work has been carried out rigorously, ensuring compliance with principles and procedures, going into depth, and having a positive impact on propaganda, promoting the emulation of "good people, good deeds", and propagating exemplary individuals.

In the period 2024 - 2029, Buon Don District LLVT will continue to strengthen propaganda and education on patriotic emulation; enhance the leadership role of Party Committees at all levels in commendation and reward work; innovate the content and form of organizing emulation activities to be practical and effective; closely combine regular emulation with surprise emulation; link emulation with the effective performance of commendation and reward work; identify, develop, and train exemplary individuals, thereby promoting learning emulation.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Buon Don District awarded Commendation Certificates to 6 collectives and 18 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the Resolving to Win LLVT movement in the district, phase 2019 - 2024.
