On August 14, in Buon Ma Thuot City, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak Province held a ceremony to announce the merger of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak and Phu Yen Provinces into the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak for the first term, 2025 - 2028.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Do Huu Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Bui Thanh Toan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology; comrade Hoang Cong Doan - Vice President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; leaders of relevant departments, agencies, and units.

During the ceremony, Nguyen Van Huan - Vice President of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak announced the decision from the Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee allowing the merger of the old Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak and the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Phu Yen into the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak.

In the first six months of 2025, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Phu Yen had 155 members, maintained the activities of four affiliated clubs, organized numerous networking programs, and participated in meaningful social welfare activities. The Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak had 165 members, four district-level clubs, and five industry-specific clubs, successfully organized its term congress, maintained the “Entrepreneurs Coffee - Connect and Share” program, held six policy dialogue activities, and two trade promotion activities, while also making significant contributions to charity work and supporting the construction of humanitarian houses. These results demonstrate that, despite challenges, young entrepreneurs from both provinces have shown resilience, strong organizational capacity, and a deep commitment to the community.

The Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak - Phu Yen conducted the merger ceremony to become the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak.

The action motto of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak for the term 2025 - 2028 is “Young Entrepreneurs of Dak Lak: United – Creative – Progressive.” During this term, the association has set forth eight action programs, including: building, consolidating, and developing a strong Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak; enhancing the capacity of member enterprises in the digital age; promoting trade and investment activities; supporting youth and young entrepreneurs in starting businesses and innovative startups; building brand recognition for enterprises and honoring outstanding young entrepreneurs…

Comrade Hoang Cong Doan - Vice President of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Vietnam delivered a speech at the ceremony. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Hoang Cong Doan, Vice President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association,  emphasized that the merger of the former Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak and the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Phu Yen into the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak marks a new phase of development, where the potential and strengths of the two localities can be combined and leveraged. Dak Lak, the center of the Central Highlands with strong advantages in agriculture, renewable energy, and eco-tourism, together with Phu Yen, a dynamic coastal province in the South Central Coast known for its marine economy, services, and processing industry, will together create a diverse and vibrant economic space, opening up opportunities for inter-regional cooperation and international integration.

With this new scale and stature, Mr. Doan called on members of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak to continue building a strong organization in both quality and quantity, with a focus on diversifying membership; enhancing training programs to improve business management capacity; expanding exchanges, networking, and trade promotion activities; encouraging members to prioritize using each other’s products and services; maintaining and strengthening dialogue with local leaders; promoting initiatives to support youth and young entrepreneurs, especially innovative startups; and fostering the role of the Association’s Office to work effectively with the new Executive Committee in achieving its set goals.

The Executive Board of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak Province for the term 2025 - 2028 was introduced at the ceremony. 

At the ceremony, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak Province held the inaugural meeting of the Executive Committee for the first term, 2025 - 2028, consisting of 46 members. Mr. Nguyen Huynh Vinh Huy was elected as the President of the association. The Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak Province also awarded certificates to 08 new members.

On this occasion, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak donated a compassion house to Ea Rieng Commune and presented 10 bicycles to students in Buon Don Commune. The Young Entrepreneurs Association of Binh Dinh also contributed by donating a compassion house through the Dak Lak Association.
