Dak Lak completed the first phase of 2020 High School Graduation examination: safe, serious, and in compliance with regulations (15/08/2020, 10:45)

After 2 days of exam, about 14,000 Dak Lak candidates in 14 districts and towns have completed the first phase of 2020 High School Graduation Examination on Monday afternoon (August 10). The examination is judged to be safe and serious and achieve the set goals, both complying with the exam regulations and ensuring safety against the Covid-19 epidemic.

At the end of the Foreign Language test - the last test of the first phase of 2020 High School Graduation Examination, candidates left the exam room in an excited and comfortable mood because the questions was suitable for their studying capacity, not difficult to get a score above average points.

Candidate Nguyen Thi Thu Ha (Nguyen Binh Khiem High School, Krong Pak District) said:  “I chose to take the English test, this year’s test I find quite close to the illustrated test. I completed the test in time. There are about the last 10 advanced questions that are a bit difficult, but I still do it well, reaching about 70%”.

Similarly, candidate Nguyen Duc Ba (Hai Ba Trung High School, Buon Ho town) also excitedly said: “This year’s English test is “easier to breathe” compared to last year’s test and survey types that I used to do. Only a few quizzes in the form of grammar and vocabulary can be completed based on context. At this test venue, there are a lot of my classmates said that they did not need to spend all the time because the questions was just difficult enough”.

According to the synthesis of Dak Lak Department of Education and Training, in the foreign language test, the whole province had 12,911 candidates taking the English test, reaching 99.55%, 59 absent candidates. 100% of candidates took the test on Chinese and Japanese. No supervisors and candidates violated the exam regulations.

As soon as the last test is finished, Mr. Pham Dang Khoa - Director of Dak Lak Department of Education and Training said that the first phase of 2020 High School Graduation Examination in Dak Lak took place safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations. No supervisors or candidates violated exam regulations. No unusual events happened. The percentage of candidates taking exams of subjects reached 99.42% with 555 absent candidates. It is showing the increase of candidates’ awareness, their confidence as well as no negatives during the Exam. This year’s exam took place in the midst of a complicated epidemic of Covid-19 and diphtheria in the province, so it can be seen as a special exam compared to other years. Therefore, it was necessary to ensure the examination regulations while ensure the prevention of epidemics and other conditions as adverse weather events such as heavy rains in some districts.

Right on the afternoon of August 10, the answer bags and test documents was submitted to the Boards of the Examination Council. On August 11, the Boards will proceed to the phrases to score the answers. It is expected that the test scores will be announced on August 27th in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
For candidates of Buon Ma Thuot city and who are F1, F2 cases must take the second phase of the Exam, the Department of Education and Training has directed schools to continue to help these candidates by online support while encouraging them to prepare for the next phase.
