From November 18 to November 20, 2022, the delegation of officials and artisans of Dak Lak province participated in the Week of "Great Unity - Cultural Heritage of Vietnam" of 2022 at the Cultural - Tourism Village of Ethnic Groups of Vietnam (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi).

Dak Lak province participated in many activities such as: National Unity Day at the "Common House"; Reenactment of the Mother and Child Twinning Ceremony of the Ede people; the Cultural Festival of ethnic groups of the Central Highlands (Performing folk songs, folk dances, crafting and performing traditional musical instruments like no-hole flute, Ding Puot, Ding Tak Tar, brocade weaving art).

The twinning ceremony of mother and child of the Ede ethnic group in Dak Lak province depicts the twinning between two families: adoptive mother (Hyum Nie) in Buon Tơng Ju, Ea Kao commune, Buon Ma Thuot city and adopted child (Y Vang Brong) in Buon Tong Ju, Ea Kao commune, Buon Ma Thuot city. The ceremony expresses the desire for all people to live in harmony, help each other overcome all difficulties and build an increasingly prosperous and beautiful village.

Participating in the Cultural Exchange Day of the Central Highlands ethnic groups, Dak Lak artisans performed folk songs, traditional folk dances, folk musical instruments, various kinds of choirs, and gong performances. They also crafted and performed 03 traditional musical instruments including: Flute, Ding Puot, Dinh Tak Ta; introduced the art of weaving brocade fabric of the Ede ethnic group; displayed 100 publications on Dak Lak tourism; promoted OCOP products, typical products of Dak Lak.

Within the framework of the event, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism visited and presented gifts to the artisans operating daily at the Cultural-Tourism Village of ethnic groups of Vietnam, expressing the desire for the artisans to continue participating in the program, introducing the cultural identity of the Ede people to the people and visitors at home and abroad.

The Week of "Great Unity - Cultural Heritage of Vietnam" is an annual activity held at the Cultural - Tourism Village of Ethnic Groups of Vietnam, celebrating the Traditional Establishment Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18) and the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23). It is a place to converge typical cultural values of 54 ethnic groups, praising the good examples of ethnic people throughout the country, honoring activities to preserve and promote the cultural identity of ethnic groups.

This is an important cultural event, educating patriotic traditions and national pride, a great festival for ethnic people to meet and exchange. At the same time, this sums up a year of patriotic emulation movements, joining hands to build the "Common House" of 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam, thereby strengthening the great national unity.
