On the occasion of the 83rd Anniversary of Vietnam Elderly Day (6/6/1941 - 6/6/2024), there are 1,113 elderly people aged 90 and 100 in Dak Lak province who were presented with gifts and wishes for longevity.

Representatives from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs collaborated with relevant agencies to present gifts and wishes for longevity to the elderly.
Specifically, there are 160 elderly people aged 100 who were wished longevity and presented with gifts by the President of the country (born in 1924), including: Longevity congratulatory cards, 5 meters of silk or pottery fabric, and 1 million VND in cash. Elderly people aged 90 were wished longevity and presented with gifts by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (born in 1934), totaling 953 people; gifts included: Longevity congratulatory cards, gifts worth 300,000 VND, and 700,000 VND in cash. The total cost for gifts and wishes for longevity in this round is nearly 1.35 billion VND.
This is a meaningful activity that demonstrates the care of the Party, State for the elderly, especially those with particularly difficult circumstances, lonely without support; at the same time, it enhances the spirit of "Mutual love and assistance" in the community, maintaining and promoting the tradition of "Respecting the elderly - Revering longevity" of the nation.
