On the evening of October 7, the Dak Lak Business Association, Young Entrepreneurs Association,and Women Entrepreneurs Association organized a ceremony to celebrate the 19th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day from October 13, 2004, to October 13, 2023.

The event was attended by prominent individuals such as Pham Minh Tan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tuan Ha, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Phu Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, as well as leaders of departments, agencies, and a large number of local entrepreneurs in Dak Lak.

During the event, participants revisited the traditions of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day, exchanged experiences in managing, operating, and conducting business operations.
Dak Lak Province currently boasts more than 12,500 operating businesses in various sectors. Over the years, many businesses and entrepreneurs have made significant efforts, applied scientific and technological advances, modernized their equipment, and restructured their business operations to adapt to international economic integration. Furthermore, the business community has actively contributed to addressing employment, social welfare, and promoting economic and social development in the region.
In the first nine months of 2023, approximately 1,078 new businesses were established, marking a 65% increase compared to the same period in 2022. Additionally, 328 temporarily suspended businesses resumed their operations. As of September 30, 2023, it is estimated that Dak Lak Province will host around 12,496 active businesses, comprising 11,528 independent businesses and 968 branches of businesses from other provinces.

The provincial People's Committee leadership awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in production and business activities as well as social welfare.
The provincial government recognized and commended 16 organizations and 12 individuals for their outstanding contributions to production, business activities, and community well-being. Many entrepreneurs have not only actively revived their business operations but have also recognized their social responsibility. They have engaged in charitable activities, participated in community support programs at all levels and sectors, and contributed directly to overcoming challenges post-pandemic. This collective effort helps build a stronger community of entrepreneurs committed to legitimate wealth creation, continuous improvement of business and management capabilities, and social and environmental responsibility.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and commended the contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs to our province. At the same time, he expressed his hope that, in the time ahead, the business community would continue to recognize their responsibility in the nation-building and protection, socio-economic development, and ensuring social well-being. They should integrate their business activities inseparably with preserving the ecological environment, ensuring healthy competition, and genuinely bearing responsibility towards society. Thus, their practical and effective contributions can contribute to the successful achievement of the province's socio-economic development goals..

The organizers implemented a series of sports and cultural activities to celebrate Entrepreneur's Day.
The Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Association of Vietnam presented Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 11 individuals who are members of the Provincial Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Association of Đắk Lắk for their achievements in promoting and developing the association.
As part of the event, the organizers held the Women Entrepreneurs Elegance Contest, the 1st edition in Đắk Lắk province, and the Entrepreneurs' Tennis Tournament for the Bia Sai Gon Cup, 1st edition in 2023, which attracted over 300 participants, including entrepreneurs and leaders from various provincial departments and agencies.
