Dak Lak Province’s women support environmental sanitation for World Environment Day (11/06/2021, 16:28)

Recently, several levels of Dak Lak Province’s Women’s Union organized many activities in response to “Action month for environment” and World Environment Day on June 5th.

Several levels of the Women’s Union mobilized officials and members of the Women’ Union to clean village streets and lanes, and take care for the models of “Flower Street”, green-clean-beautiful “self-managing women” street, and plant trees and flowers. Specifically, the Women’s Union of Cư M’gar District organized the program “Women mutually recover the environment” and mobilized each official and member of the Women’s Union to take care of at least one tree. The Women’s Union of Ea Kar District delivered 200 leaflets and gave 20 handbaskets to women in difficult situations.

These are necessary activities to raise the awareness of responsibility for environmental protection, preserve the balanced relationship between economic development and landscape preservation, strengthen the effectiveness of educating and mobilizing Women’s Union members to preserve environmental sanitation, gradually form a civilized lifestyle, and  build a green – clean – beautiful Dak Lak Province.
