Dak Lak Provincial National Assembly Delegation Meets with Voters after the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly (17/07/2024, 10:59)

On the afternoon of July 9, the Dak Lak Provincial National Assembly Delegation held an online conference to meet with over 1,100 voters from seven localities, including Buon Ma Thuot City, Buon Ho Town, and the districts of Krong Nang, Buon Don, Ea Sup, Cu Kuin, and Ea H'leo, following the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

The conference was attended by Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, members of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of relevant departments and agencies.

At the conference, voters were informed by representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation about the results of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Over 27.5 days of working (from May 20 to June 8, 2024, and from June 17 to the morning of June 29, 2024), with a spirit of innovation, solidarity, democracy, intelligence, urgency, and high responsibility, the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly successfully completed its entire agenda with many notable achievements, which were highly appreciated by National Assembly delegates, voters, and the public.

At the session, the National Assembly reviewed and decided on personnel matters within its authority, economic and social issues, the state budget, discussed and commented on draft laws, conducted inquiries and answered inquiries, performed supreme oversight functions, and decided on other important matters.

Notably, during this session, the National Assembly passed 11 laws and 21 important resolutions. Compared to previous sessions of the 15th National Assembly, this session passed and issued the most laws and draft resolutions. These are all significant laws and resolutions, covering many sectors and fields, having a significant impact on socio-economic development and people's lives. Additionally, the National Assembly provided initial feedback on 11 draft laws, reviewed reports evaluating the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget in 2023 and the first months of 2024, and provided feedback on several other important issues.

Voters expressed their joy and excitement over the success of the session and proposed many suggestions and recommendations on various issues such as prioritizing the investment and upgrading of National Highway 29, National Highway 14, and other provincial roads; ensuring the construction of irrigation dams to support production for the people of Cu Kuin district; continuing to propose solutions to improve the quality of education and training in the area; ensuring allowances for non-specialist workers at the commune level and considering increasing support for village and hamlet officials; and providing policies to support 100% health insurance card purchases for ethnic minorities.

Voters also raised concerns about local planning work, suggested adjusting pensions, urged for the expedited issuance of land use rights certificates, and highlighted the rampant counterfeit fertilizers and pesticides on the market, requesting effective sanctions to prevent and address these issues.

The leaders of the relevant departments and agencies directly responded to the voters' comments and suggestions, addressing most of the voters' requirements.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Thi Thanh Xuan thanked the voters for their heartfelt and practical comments, which reflected their responsibility. She also directly addressed and clarified the issues of voter concern, affirming that the National Assembly Delegation, along with relevant departments and agencies, would compile and submit these comments to the appropriate authorities for prompt resolution, meeting the legitimate aspirations of the voters.
