Of Thursday afternoon (June 18th), the Department of Public Security of Dak Lak province held a meeting with press agencies in the province to celebrate the 95th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21st, 1925 – June 21st, 2020).

At the meeting, Colonel Le Van Tuyen - Director of the Provincial Public Security Department sent his best wishes to the journalists on the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21st, 1925- June 21st, 2020). Simultaneously, the Colonel acknowledged the contributions of the journalists to the activities of the province in general and to the communication in the field of political security, social order and safety of the province in particular in the past time. Especially, the journalists informed and propagated the Party’s guidelines and policies and the State’s laws to officials, party members and local people in the province so that they could understand the conspiracy, methods and tricks of sabotage of hostile forces and criminals. Besides, the journalists timely reflected and provided relevant information to help the police force in preventing, detecting, investigating and handling crimes and law-breaking acts; praised promptly advanced individuals who were brave in the prevention of and fight against crimes...

In addition, the Director of provincial Public Security expressed his hope that the news and press agencies should continue strengthening the close coordination with the public security forces in the law propagation and social opinion orientation, mobilizing people of all strata to participate in the fight against crime, ensuring social security and order, and protecting the peaceful and happy life of the people.

Also at the meeting, the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Public Security informed the press agencies of some outstanding activities on ensuring political security, social order and safety in the province in the first 6 months of 2020 and a number of key tasks for the coming time.
