To meet the demand for sightseeing and vacationing of tourists during the holiday period of April 30 - May 1, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province has requested tourism businesses to improve the quality of services for welcoming visitors. Tourist attractions, hotels, and restaurants are preparing their human resources, reviewing all existing facilities, ensuring security, checking and preparing the best conditions to serve tourists. Businesses are also required to comply with guidelines on COVID-19 prevention and control, encourage the implementation of the 2K message, and ensure safety for tourists.

Visitors at the World Coffee Museum
Most tourists choose community ecotourism when visiting Buon Ma Thuot city and districts of Buon Don and Lak during the holidays. Tourist destinations all have a 20-30% increase in the number of visitors compared to normal days.
At the tourist sites, cultural spaces have been organized, such as gong performances, reenactments of traditional festivals, daily cultural activities, and demonstrations of folk games for visitors to enjoy.
Statistics show that all tourist attractions have seen a significant increase in visitors, such as Dray Nur waterfall (Krông Ana district) with about 130,000 visitors; Dak Lak Museum welcoming and serving 438 groups with 2,465 visitors; Buon Don Suspension Bridge Tourist Center receiving nearly 6,000 visitors in 2 days (April 30 - May 1), a 20% increase compared to last year.
The leader of the Buon Don Suspension Bridge Tourist Center said that this year, in addition to the typical services of the tourist area such as listening to gong music while drinking can wine, taking photos with elephants, crossing the suspension bridge, camping overnight, and enjoying local specialties, the center also offers new cycling tours to visit long houses and learn about the customs of the Ede people, and performances of the Buon Don epic. We still strive to promote and encourage tourists to change their habits when visiting Buon Don, "Stop riding elephants - Smile with elephants."
Tourism businesses in the province have strictly implemented the requirements of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to ensure conditions for facilities, publicly announce prices of goods and services and sell at the correct price, prevent violations in the tourism business sector, ensure food safety and environmental sanitation, and focus on COVID-19 prevention and control measures.
For localities with tourist attractions organizing business activities on rivers, lakes, and waterfalls, they should regularly review all existing programs, check the quality, repair and upgrade tourism service vehicles, and arrange rescue teams on duty 24/24 hours to ensure absolute safety for tourists, especially children when participating in recreational activities.
