On the afternoon of March 11^th, the Young Entrepreneurs Association held the 7^th Session Conference, 2021-2024 term. Attending the Conference were: Mr. Phan Thanh Thien - Vice Chairman of the Central Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; Mr. Vo Van Canh - Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Dak Lak Province, representatives of Young Entrepreneurs Associations of provinces/cities, and their members.

The Province’s Young Entrepreneurs Association currently has 90 members and 3 branches in Krong Pac and Krong Nang districts and Buon Ho Town.

In the last term, the Association’s activities made drastic changes, its members’ are getting younger, affirming its pioneering role in the province’s socio-economic development. The Province’s Young Entrepreneurs Association focuses on effectively implementing 3 key activities including: the “Strengthening the organizaztion and uniting young entrepreneurs, building and developing the Association” Program; the Program to build Dak Lak young entrepreneurs’ culture and social responsibility; the “Young entrepreneurs build start-ups and help the country” Program. Especially, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, member businesses have made great efforts to overcome difficulties, create jobs for workers, and contribute to the local budget.

The Young Entrepreneurs Association has become a bridge to help members show their active role in building a healthy business environment, promoting products, building business brands, and promoting Dak Lak images, people, and hometown to friends at home and abroad; to organize a coffee business program; to cooperate with relevant departments, branches, and organizations to support in technology, legal, regimes, and policies beneficial to its member businesses; to guide the establishment of businesses and start-ups and support economic and legal issues for businesses; to facilitate effective and feasible new ideas.

Regarding social security activities, the Province’s Young Entrepreneurs Association directly campaigned and built 3 charity schools and class programs; coordinated to build 12 charity houses; coordinated with the province’s Vietnam Youth Federation to organize the annual “Charity journey to a happy new year for the poor” to the people in remote areas, especially difficult areas; supported the people in the Central Region suffering from natural disasters and floods; participated in “Red Sunday” blood donation; coordinated with the the province’s Market Management Department to support the consumption of Bac Giang lychee; supported Covid-19 pandemic prevention with the total funding for social activities of approximately 1.4 billion VND.

As of last term, there was 01 businessman receiving the October 15^th award of the province’s and Central Vietnam Youth Federation, 01 businessman was honored “Youth with meaningful life” by the province’s Vietnam Youth Federation, 01 member business won the Red Star Award, 1 member received the title of Outstanding Young Entrepreneur, etc.

For the term 2021-2024, the province’s Young Entrepreneurs Association set an action goal of “Solidarity - Adaptation - Development”; to diversify training activities to improve business knowledge for members, strengthen solidarity between the team of Dak Lak Entrepreneurs; to be actively ready for global integration and responsible to the social community. Some action programs in the 2021 - 2024 term should be focused on: building and developing a strong organization of Dak Lak Young Entrepreneurs Association; supporting service activities to member businesses; promoting and connecting trade; supporting and consulting policies to members; internationally cooperatiing and connecting members; etc.

Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the Province’s People’s Committee Vo Van Canh emphasized that, in the context of the economy facing many difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Province’s Young Entrepreneurs Association still maintained stable production and business, attracting more members to participate in the social security program. This is a good tradition that needs to be continued in the next term.

Vice Chairman Vo Van Canh expected that, for the 2021-2024 term, the team of young entrepreneurs would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, actively transform digitally, exploit the potential advantages to create their own unique products with high competitiveness, be active on the economic front of the province, and actively respond to charity and humanitarian activities.

In addition, the Province’s Young Entrepreneurs Association continued to promote its role as a bridge, helping members to develop sustainably in the context of international economic integration, taking advantage of the role of the Youth Union - Association from the provincial to local levels to build a strong and quality association, expanding domestic and international trade promotion exchanges, facilitating and supporting young entrepreneurs’ start-ups, creating more jobs for local people, contributing to the successful implementation of the province’s socio-economic development goals.

The conference elected Mr. Pham Dong Thanh to continue as the Chairman of the Province’s Young Entrepreneurs Association, 7^th session, 2021-2024 term.

On this occasion, the Central Young Entrepreneurs Association presented the Emulation Flag of leading the movement to the Province’s Young Entrepreneurs Association; awarded Certificates of Merit to 24 individuals with outstanding achievements in contributing to the Association’s movement.

The People’s Committee of the province awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in contributing to the Association’s movement for the 2018-2021 term. Members of the Province’s Young Entrepreneurs Association donated 244 million VND to the Province’s Welfare Fund.
