Delegation of Provincial People's Council of Dak Lak Meets Voters After the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly (05/12/2023, 08:53)

On the morning of December 1st, the Delegation of the Provincial People's Council of Dak Lak organized an online meeting with more than 1,200 voters from 7 localities, including Buon Ma Thuot City and the districts of Cu M'gar, Krong Ana, M'Drak, Ea Kar, Krong Bong, and Lak, following the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

The conference was attended by comrades such as Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Central Party Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Party Central Committee Member, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Huynh Thi Chien Hoa – Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. H'Kim Hoa Bya – Head of the Provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization; Mr. Y Giang Gry Nie Knong – Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Ms. H’Yim Kdoh - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan - Deputy Head of the Delegation specialized in National Assembly affairs, in charge of the Provincial People's Council delegation, along with National Assembly delegates and representatives of relevant departments and sectors.

At the conference, voters were briefed by representatives of the Provincial People's Council Delegation on the results of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly. After 22.5 working days (session 1 from October 23 to November 10, 2023; session 2 from November 20 to the morning of November 29, 2023), with a spirit of innovation, solidarity, democracy, intelligence, urgency, and high responsibility, the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly successfully completed the entire agenda.

The session passed 7 laws, 9 resolutions, gathered opinions for the third time on 1 draft law, for the second time on 1 draft law, and for the first time on 8 other draft laws. It also conducted a vote of confidence for 44 officials elected or approved by the National Assembly, carried out specialized supreme supervision, questioned and answered questions, reviewed and decided on issues related to the economy, society, state budget, and examined reports summarizing voters' and citizens' proposals, as well as the results of supervising the resolution of voters' recommendations, along with other important contents.

Voters expressed joy and excitement at the success of the session while proposing many opinions and recommendations on various issues such as expediting the completion of the national master plan, sectoral planning, and approval of local plans. They suggested prioritizing the upgrading of National Highway 27, 19C, and other provincial roads; finding effective solutions for the origin of land for agricultural and forestry purposes; reviewing opinions and proposing an increase in allowances and preferential regimes for contributors; implementing effective solutions to ensure allowances for non-specialized grassroots activists at the commune level and considering increasing support for village, hamlet, and neighborhood officials; ensuring support policies for safe areas; raising salaries and benefits for school staff; continuing to expedite the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh Road bypass project in East Buon Ma Thuot City while ensuring the rights and benefits of affected residents.

Additionally, voters also reflected on the shortage of vaccines in the expanded vaccination program in some localities, and the cumbersome procedures for issuing citizen identity cards causing difficulties for the people.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Council Delegation responsible for the National Assembly delegation, Le Thi Thanh Xuan, expressed gratitude for the passionate and practical opinions, demonstrating the responsibility of the voters. At the same time, she directly exchanged and clarified further the issues that voters cared about, affirming that the opinions would be promptly addressed by the Provincial People's Council Delegation and relevant authorities at all levels in accordance with regulations, meeting the legitimate expectations and wishes of the voters.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Council Delegation to the National Assembly of Dak Lak, comrade Le Thi Thanh Xuan requested relevant departments, sectors, and localities to pay attention to, explain the contents of the recommendations within their jurisdiction, and notify voters of the results of resolution in the shortest time possible.
