On October 19, a delegation of the Provincial Standing Party Committee led by Mr. Eban Y Phu – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee paid a visit to Cu Prao commune, M’Drak district to learn about the implementation of socio-economic development task in the first 9 months of 2016 and set up new tasks and orientations for the rest of the year. Also Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, leaders of Provincial People’s Council, and relevant Departments and sectors participated in the delegation.

Cu Prao commune has 1,380 households with 5,655 people, the poverty rate accounted for 55.5 percent. Over the past few years, the economy of the commune showed a good development. The annual growth rate achieves 20-25 percent per year. Income per capita increases from VND14 million (2011) to nearly VND20 million (2015), and the poverty rate has decreased yearly. The increase of economic farm models with total investment over VND one billion has contributed to the economic effectiveness and solved the employment problem for local labors. Moreover, Cu Prao commune has reached 8 standards for modern rural construction programme, including: planning, markets, post offices, structure of labour force, production methods, health, strong political and social system, security, order and social system. Furthermore, the commune also strives to reach other standards for new-style rural area construction in 2016, such as: transportation, environment, and poverty rates.
During the first nine months, Cu Prao’s state budget revenue reached VND 259 million, over 16% of the assignment. Besides, for the forest management and protection, Cu Prao’s residents signed a commitment not to exploit, deforest as well as illegally trade and hunt wild animals.
Relating to the building of Party and political system, the commune has successfully implemented the propaganda and understanding of local situation in order to well solve arising problems.

In order to ensure conditions for localities having background in implementing assigned socio – economic targets, Cu Prao’s Party Committee and its authorities suggested the Provincial Party Committee’s delegation paying attention to investing Provincial road No.13 which starts from the center of Cu Prao commune to Buon Pa (Pa village) and 1,4 km of Eastern Truong Son Road for the convenience in transportation. They will provide a stable life for residents as well as trading agricultural commodities. Furthermore, the commune also suggested the delegation supporting to construct the infrastructure and office of Pham Hong Thai Primary School to create more favorable conditions for studying of teachers and students.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Eban Y Phu – Secretary of Party Committee appreciated the efforts of Cu Prao’s Party Committee, government and people in implementing socio-economic targets last time. The Secretary also recorded Cu Prao’s suggestions and directed relevant agencies to research solutions to support the commune next time.
