Eighth Session of the Xth People's Council of Dak Lak Province Approves 21 Important Resolutions (17/07/2024, 09:24)

On the afternoon of July 11, after two days of urgent, serious, and responsible work, the Xth People's Council of Dak Lak Province completed the agenda of the Eighth Session with many important issues and closed the session.

The session reviewed, discussed, and unanimously approved 8 regulatory resolutions, 13 specific resolutions, and many other important issues. These include crucial and urgent matters that serve the administration, management, and socio-economic development of the province, such as: the resolution on tuition fees for the 2024-2025 academic year for public preschools and general education institutions in Dak Lak Province; the resolution on the pricing of medical services not covered by health insurance at state medical facilities in Dak Lak Province; the resolution on the list of public service activities funded by the state budget in the fields of culture, family, sports, and tourism in Dak Lak Province; the resolution on expenditure levels to ensure legal dissemination, legal education, legal access standards, and grassroots reconciliation in Dak Lak Province; the resolution on expenditure levels for international agreements in Dak Lak Province; the resolution approving the plan to organize and arrange the Cooperative Development Support Fund of Dak Lak Province; the resolution detailing the allocation of development investment capital from the central budget for the National Target Program for New Rural Development in 2024...

In his closing speech, Chairwoman of the People's Council, Huynh Thi Chien Hoa, emphasized that to achieve and surpass the socio-economic development, defense, and security targets for 2024, and to continue celebrating the 120th anniversary of the province's establishment, the People's Council urges the Provincial People's Committee to closely follow the targets, tasks, and solutions set forth, to decisively direct and comprehensively implement the province-wide planning approved by the Prime Minister. They should implement effective and comprehensive solutions to ensure growth, budget revenue and expenditure plans, economic restructuring, resolving citizens' complaints and disputes, promoting investment, tourism, and business activities, and promptly addressing obstacles and difficulties to promote socio-economic development in the future.

Additionally, they should proactively and promptly implement the Party's resolutions and the State's policies and laws in various fields, review the content, mechanisms, and policies that need to be submitted to the Provincial People's Council for promulgation or amendment as required by current laws and local realities, especially new laws that have been enacted and come into effect, such as: the Land Law 2024, the Housing Law 2023, the Law on Forces Participating in the Protection of Security and Order at the Grassroots Level 2023...; strictly implement Prime Minister's Directive No. 968/CD-TTg dated October 16, 2023, on strengthening discipline in state administrative agencies at all levels; continue researching and proposing solutions to fundamentally resolve existing issues in the management, protection, and development of forests, natural resources, public investment in general, and national target programs in particular; accelerate the completion of key projects and significant works to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the establishment of Dak Lak Province.

In the future, to continue innovating and improving the role, quality, and effectiveness of its activities, the Provincial People's Council will regularly organize thematic sessions as prescribed and required; further strengthen supervision activities by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Committees of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Council Delegation, and the Provincial People's Council delegates on the implementation of the Provincial People's Council's resolutions, legal regulations, and addressing the suggestions and concerns of the public, especially pressing issues that attract public and voter attention. The focus will be on monitoring and evaluating the results of the implementation of resolutions on socio-economic development plans and ensuring national defense and security for the 2021-2025 period; promptly and thoroughly completing thematic supervision in public investment and education and training in the province as directed by the Provincial Party Standing Committee, serving the preparation of documents for the 18th Provincial Party Congress and the direction and administration tasks.

The Provincial People's Council urges all sectors and levels to effectively implement social welfare policies, take care of the material and spiritual lives of the people, policy families, workers, and disadvantaged people; promote activities to commemorate the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day; and encourage all people and business communities to join hands in successfully achieving the 2024 tasks.
