Expanded 17th District Party Executive Committee Conference of Ea H'leo District (28/06/2024, 09:00)

On June 25th, the Ea H'leo District Party Committee organized the expanded 17th District Party Executive Committee Conference to review the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of the year and to discuss directions and tasks for the latter half of 2024.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the socio-economic situation of Ea H'leo District achieved many positive results, with many targets being met or exceeded. During the 2023-2024 winter-spring crop season, the entire district achieved 103.6% of the planned cultivation area. The total state budget revenue in the district exceeded 76.2 billion VND (76.2% of the provincial allocation and 69.3% of the district's allocation). As of April 5th, the district disbursed over 9.88 billion VND from the provincial budget (59.5% of the plan) and 6.25 billion VND from the district budget (12.8% of the plan). Currently, the district has fulfilled 200 out of 209 criteria for building new rural areas, averaging 18.18 criteria per commune, with 9 out of 11 communes meeting the new rural area standards.

There have been significant changes in the cultural and social sectors, with social welfare programs effectively promoted, and information dissemination ensuring timely communication of Party directives, state policies, and meeting the information needs of the people regarding economic and social matters. Defense and security work maintained a state of constant readiness, with 100% achievement in the conscription and mobilization of self-defense forces ensuring quality. Party organization and member quality improvement have been consistently prioritized, with 80 new Party members recruited across the district in the past 6 months, achieving 53.6% of the plan.

During the conference, delegates focused on studying and discussing draft reports such as: assessing the 5-year plan to "enhance the quality of Party member recruitment and review, screening out members no longer qualified for the Party"; "strengthening Party organization in private economic units"; "enhancing Party leadership in the People's Movement for Homeland Security in the new situation"; and "promoting solidarity and unity among religious groups in our country today". They also discussed and proposed key tasks for the latter half of 2024, outlining specific solutions and striving to complete the goals and plans for 2024.

The conference also approved Decision No. 1775-QĐ/TU dated May 16, 2024, by the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee regarding the confirmation of the election results for additional members of the Standing Committee of the Ea H'leo District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, including Comrade Mai Thi My - District Party Committee member and Chairwoman of the District Women's Union.
