Expanding the Reach of the "120-Year History of Dak Lak Province" Knowledge Contest (28/05/2024, 11:12)

The "120-Year History of Dak Lak Province (22/11/1904 - 22/11/2024)" knowledge contest was launched and organized starting from March 7, 2024, combining both online multiple-choice rounds on a weekly basis and written rounds for the final. After 6 weeks of the multiple-choice rounds, positive results were achieved, initially confirming the contest's widespread impact.

With the principle of "easy to remember, easy to understand, and easy to compete," the multiple-choice section was designed by the Organizing Committee with basic information fields, making it easy for contestants to log in. The reference materials were concise and straightforward, enabling readers to easily grasp core information. The questions were closely aligned with significant events and milestones in the history of the formation, construction, and development of Dak Lak Province, highlighting its revolutionary traditions and significant achievements over the past 120 years.

To effectively implement the contest, local party committees, governments, agencies, departments, and unions within the province paid close attention and widely disseminated information to officials, public servants, employees, youth, students, and the general public through various forms of information and propaganda. This was achieved through a network of reporters at all levels, the provincial press and radio system, the internet, social media, and support from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department across the country. This contributed to the contest's wide-reaching impact both within and beyond the province, attracting a high number of participants with assured quality.

According to the Organizing Committee's statistics, over 6 weeks of the multiple-choice round, there were 860,768 participants; an average of 143,461 participants per week. Of these, 89,078 participants (10.3%) were from outside the province, hailing from various provinces and cities nationwide. Within the province, there were 771,690 participants (89.7%). The number of participants increased weekly, except for the fifth week. The number of participants in the sixth week was more than double that of the first week (183,958 compared to 85,834).
