Grading the Entries of the Competition "Understanding the 120-year History of Formation and Development of Dak Lak Province" (12/07/2024, 14:36)

On the afternoon of July 9th, the Judging Panel and the Assistance Team of the "Understanding the 120-year History of Formation and Development of Dak Lak Province" competition held a meeting to approve the scoring criteria for the semi-final round (essay competition) of the competition; they also began scoring the entries.

The semi-final round (essay competition) of the "Understanding the 120-year History of Formation and Development of Dak Lak Province" competition featured 55 entries from authors who had achieved awards in previous rounds (quiz competitions).

The judging panel proceeded to score the entries.

The entries in the semi-final round were categorized into 3 themes: "Dak Lak in My Heart" (18 entries), "Exploring Dak Lak" (7 entries), and "Building Dak Lak Province Rich in Beauty, Civilization, and Identity" (30 entries).

The meeting also approved the scoring criteria for the entries. Accordingly, the scoring method involved a round-robin process, where the average score from 5 judges constituted the final score for each entry; a permissible difference of up to 10 points between judges' scores was allowed.

The total score for each entry was 100 points, comprising 20 points for presentation and 80 points for content. Criteria for presentation included: neatness of printing and binding of the entry; presence of illustrative images in the entry; creative ideas, meticulous design, and presentation of the entry... Criteria for content included: well-structured composition of the entry; specific and clear content aligned with the selected themes; innovative elements, new documentary information...

Following the approval of the scoring criteria, the Judging Panel commenced the scoring of the entries. It is anticipated that the scoring process will be completed by the afternoon of July 11th, 2024.
