On April 10^th (on the 10^th day of the 3^rd lunar month) at Lac Giao Temple (a national historical and cultural relic in Buon Ma Thuot City), the Dak Lak Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate Hung Kings Commemoration Day in 2022.

Participants in the ceremony included Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of Dak Lak Province; Mr. Y Bier Nie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dak Lak Province; Mr. Y Vinh Tor, Alternate Member of the CPV Central Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dak Lak Province, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Lak Province; Ms. H'Yim Kdoh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province; members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Dak Lak Province; leaders of departments and sectors; leaders of Buon Ma Thuot City; officials, soldiers and people.

The ceremony to celebrate Hung Kings Commemoration Day in 2022 was solemnly held with the following contents: playing Ede gongs, playing drums and gongs to open the ceremony; traditional sacrifice rites; offering incense, flowers and offerings to the Hung Kings; achievement-reporting and oration to review the heroic history of the Hung Kings.

On behalf of the Party Committee and people of Dak Lak Province, Ms. H'Yim Kdoh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province, reported the achievements that the Province achieved in 2021. Accordingly, despite facing many difficulties due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the Party committees, authorities and people of Dak Lak Province made great efforts to realize "dual goals" and achieved many positive results in 2021. Total social investment capital that was mobilized reached 42,027 billion VND, reaching 141.03% of the plan. Total retail sales of goods and services in the Province reached 85,873 billion VND, increasing by 2.84% compared to 2020. Total state budget revenue in the Province reached 8,150 billion VND, reaching 151.78 % of the plan. The rate of poor households decreased by 1.75%.

Dak Lak Province has focused on building the Party and political system, renovating and rearranging the apparatus, reducing the staff, and building a contingent of both good and professional cadres. Religious affairs and policies have been carried out in accordance with the law and met the people's religious needs.

Ms. H'Yim Kdoh also expressed that Dak Lak Province will continue to promote the achieved results, overcome all difficulties and challenges, and strive to successfully implement the tasks in 2022 and the following years.

Traditional sacrifice rites

The Hung Kings Commemoration Day is a traditional activity that is held annually by Dak Lak Province to pay tribute to the Hung Kings who built the country, thereby contributing to strengthening and promoting the great national unity bloc and educating patriotic tradition for the people. Despite taking place in the context of the complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic, the ceremony was held solemnly and ensured the COVID-19 prevention and control.
