On June 20th, the Krong Ana District People's Committee held its regular monthly meeting for May and reviewed the first six months of the year, launching the tasks for the latter six months of 2024.

During the first six months of 2024, despite facing many challenges due to prolonged hot weather conditions, global and domestic economic fluctuations, Krong Ana District achieved high results in many targets and tasks. Highlights include: total state budget revenue exceeding 52.4 billion VND, reaching 55.07% of the provincial plan; production value (at 2010 price comparison) over 2,600 billion VND, an 11.14% increase compared to the same period in 2023; progress in implementation and disbursement of investment capital reached 30.99%; total area under cultivation exceeded the planned targets.

Efforts in preventing and controlling livestock and poultry diseases were proactively managed to stabilize production. Healthcare, culture, and social welfare sectors received due attention. Alongside the achievements, there are still existing challenges: some economic and social indicators did not meet expectations; attracting investment into agriculture remains limited; the New Rural Development Program, One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program implementation progress is slow; traffic accident fatalities increased compared to the same period in 2023.

In the latter six months of 2024, the Krong Ana District People's Committee will continue to create favorable conditions, encourage and attract investments in production and business in the district; particularly promoting and prioritizing agriculture, agricultural product processing, and tourism sectors; intensifying measures to ensure budget revenue targets and plans are met; effectively implementing spatial planning and management on the district's territory; directing the education sector to effectively implement enrollment and prepare conditions for the academic year 2024 - 2025; efficiently implementing programs and policies to support ethnic minorities in the district; strengthening effective measures to combat and suppress crimes, social evils, effectively implementing solutions to curb traffic accidents, contributing to ensuring political security, social order, and safety...

At the conference, the Krong Ana District People's Committee announced decisions on the deployment and appointment of leadership and management officials. Specifically, the deployment and appointment of Mr. Truong Quang Vuong - Specialist at the Office of the District People's Council and People's Committee to the position of Deputy Head of Internal Affairs Department, with a term of 5 years from June 20, 2024; the deployment and appointment of Mr. Hoang Ngoc Long - Deputy Head of Internal Affairs Department to the position of Deputy Head of Agriculture and Rural Development Department; the appointment of Mr. Hoang Nguyen Tan - Specialist at the Office of the District People's Council and People's Committee to the position of Deputy Chief of Office of the District People's Council and People's Committee; the transfer and appointment of Ms. Tran Thi Nguyet, Deputy Principal of Hoa Po Lang Kindergarten to the position of Principal of Ea Tung Kindergarten; the transfer and appointment of Mr. Tran Quang Dat - Principal of Buon Trap Secondary School to the position of Principal of Nguyen Trai Secondary School.
