On May 31st, the Border Guard Command of Dak Lak province, in coordination with the party committee and local authorities, organized a ceremony to inaugurate the "Solidarity" house donated to the family of Mr. Vu Van Dang, born in 1984, in Ea Bung commune, Ea Sup district.

Mr. Vu Van Dang's family is classified as poor; Mr. Dang frequently suffers from illness, his wife lacks stable employment, and the family's economy relies mainly on 2 hectares of rice fields, which are insufficient to sustain their livelihood. Their old house, used for nearly 20 years, has deteriorated, become dilapidated, and poses a risk of collapse at any moment, leaving the family in constant fear and anxiety.

Lieutenant Colonel Ro Lan Ngan presented the National Flag and a photo of Uncle Ho to Mr. Dang's family.

After nearly 3 months of construction, the 4-room house with an area of over 100m2, including 1 living room, 3 bedrooms, and 1 kitchen, was completed. The total cost of the project was over 250 million Vietnamese dong, of which the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province contributed 70 million dong. The remaining amount was raised through loans from relatives and support from the community, along with the labor of officers and soldiers from the Dak Rue Border Guard Station.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Ro Lan Ngan, Deputy Secretary of the Border Guard Command of Dak Lak province, emphasized the implementation of the collective movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses." Recently, the military units stationed in Dak Lak province in general, and the Border Guard Command of Dak Lak province in particular, have implemented many meaningful social welfare programs, contributing to the care of the material and spiritual life of people in border areas. Among these programs is the construction and donation of "Solidarity" houses, which have helped many poor families have stable housing, overcome difficulties, strive to escape poverty, and promote economic and social development in the region.

Lieutenant Colonel Ro Lan Ngan, Deputy Secretary of the Border Guard Command of Dak Lak province, hopes that Mr. Dang's family will actively engage in production and economic development, serve as role models in adhering to and mobilizing people to follow the Party's policies, and comply with the state's laws, especially actively participating in the movement "All people protect sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national border security in the new situation."
