The annual crop planting area was 9,562 hectares out of a planned 13,462 hectares, achieving 71.03% of the plan. Agricultural production in the Winter-Spring crop of 2023-2024 in the district is progressing favorably at the planting stage. Irrigation water is ensured for 79% of crops needing watering, achieving 95.76% of the plan (NQ 82.5%), the same as the same period in 2023.
The Production combined with Resource Conservation and Social Welfare Program (referred to as the Compact Krong Nang Program) has been highly effective, continuing to expand its scale from 2021-2025 across the district, increasing the area and number of beneficiary households from 5,200 hectares/4,000 households to 23,100 hectares/19,250 households.
The National Target Program on new rural development across the district achieved 148/209 criteria, 70.8%, averaging 13.45 criteria per commune. In 2024, efforts focus on completing new rural development in Ea Tan commune, which has achieved 17/19 criteria. The forest coverage rate is estimated at 19.07%, achieving 100.37% of the plan (2024 plan is 19%), and 100.21% compared to the same period in 2023. Disease prevention and control in livestock and poultry are proactively controlled, ensuring stable production.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu An, Secretary of the District Party Committee, reports to the working group.
The political security situation and social order and safety are stable. Party building and the construction of the political system continue to receive attention, meeting the requirements of the new situation. Inspection and supervision work is timely implemented. The activities of the government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and political-social organizations show positive changes. The mass mobilization system at all levels has effectively grasped the situation and mobilized the people.
Regarding the implementation of the District Party Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, by the end of 2025, it is projected that 21/22 targets of the District Party Congress will have been achieved at a rate of over 95.45%. One target that will not be met is the new rural development (NQ is 8-11 communes, currently estimated at 6-7 new rural communes and 1 advanced new rural commune).

Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, gives directives.
Regarding the preparation for the 11th District Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, cadre planning basically meets the task requirements, ensuring preparation for the 2025-2030 term according to Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024, of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.
Despite the achievements, Krong Nang District still faces some issues such as: The disbursement of district budget capital is low, reaching 70.976/364.939 billion VND, 19.5%. Compensation and site clearance for some projects in the district encounter difficulties. The development of new party members has not met the required targets. Issuing land use right certificates in some communes faces many challenges, such as in the communes of Phu Xuan, Cu Klong, Dlieya, and Ea Tan.
The progress of planning and appraising the general construction planning project for Krong Nang town in 2035 and the implementation of tasks for urban development in Phu Xuan is slow. The coverage rate of health insurance and the upgrade rate of markets in Ea Toh, Ea Tan, and the central market are low compared to the plan.
At the working session, leaders from departments and agencies discussed the recommendations from Krong Nang District related to issues such as handling public assets to increase budget revenue; investing in expanding roads connecting national highways and provincial roads; focusing on investing in Dliyea commune to benefit from policies of a Safe Zone commune; guiding and supporting the district to soon implement investment attraction projects for two projects (investment project for production, processing, agricultural, forestry, aquatic, and seafood products in Phu Loc commune and Ea Ho commune; production, processing, agricultural, forestry, aquatic, and seafood products in Dlieya commune); exploiting the operation of Thuy Tien Waterfall; and implementing the project of reorganizing the educational network.

Mr. Tran Trung Hien, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, shares his views.
In concluding remarks at the working session, Comrade Pham Ngoc Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the proactive preparation of the District Party Committee's Standing Committee for the 2025-2030 term Congress. He urged the District Party Committee's Standing Committee to review and evaluate the implementation of targets and plans set from early 2024 and from the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, especially those likely to not be met or are low-achieving, to lead and direct efforts to complete the set plans.

Leaders from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment discuss some proposals from Krong Nang District.
Focus on implementing key tasks set out in the District Party Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, especially: Targets for communes meeting new rural standards; health insurance coverage rate; upgrading markets in Ea Toh, Ea Tan, and the central market; building houses for the poor and policy families.
