The Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association has launched Vietnam Amazing Cup 2023.

Schedule of the competition as follows: Registration for the competition from 15th February to 25th March 2023; Submission of samples to the Organization Board from 20th March to 5th April 2023; Evaluation of Physical error from 16th to 19th April 2023; Evaluation of the quality of tasting in the preliminary round from 20th to 23rd April 2023; Evaluation of the quality of tasting in the final round from 25th to 26th April 2023; Announcement of results and awards on 28th April 2023.
The competition will consist of the preliminary round and the final round. The Organization Board will select 20 or 24 samples with the highest score from the top (with special quality in the preliminary round) to evaluate in the final round. The final round will select the Top 10 of each category and samples winning the first, second and third prizes of the competition.

Vietnam Amazing Cup is organized according to the model of an international competition to discover and honor the batches of coffee and green coffee producers that meet specialty standards. The competition also aims to introduce Vietnamese specialty green coffee products to domestic and foreign consumers and roasters, directly connect roasters with specialty coffee producers, develop the market and consumption demand as well as the added value for Vietnam's specialty coffee, and motivate coffee growers to upgrade the quality of coffee.
Samples of green coffee at the competition are evaluated according to the criteria and scale in the Cupping form of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI). They are evaluated by domestic and foreign experts with a Q-Grader certificate issued by the SCA.
Vietnam Amazing Cup was first organized in 2019 at the 7th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2019. The competition was successfully organized and considered a new and key event at the festival. After that, the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association continued to organize the competition in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
