On 26th April, a meeting of Provincial Committee for Enterprise Renovation and Development was organized under head of Mr. Y Dham Enuol - Vice Standing Chairman of PPC in order to estimate progress of implementing arrangement and transformation on State-owned enterprises managing by PPC.

As reported at the meeting, there are 25 companies in fields of agriculture and forestry that have to be transformed, namely, 06 single member limited liability companies (LLCs) on forestry need to be maintained, consolidated, developed; and a wholly State-owned forestry company need to be restructured to perform tasks in manufacturing and supplying products, services for public benefit.
Lak Forestry Single Member Liability Co., LTD will be transformed into Protective Forest Management Board in form of public non-business unit. 09 companies are going to be combined with other investors to create LLCs with two members.
06 enterprises that State does not hold shares will be equitized. 03 single member LLCs are dissolved, including: Buon Me Thuot Coffee, Dray – H’linh Coffee and Krong Ana Coffee – Cocoa. Besides, 02 enterprises in the field of public benefit and services manufacturing will be also equitized without State’s share control. In the need of transforming into LLCs with two members, up to now, there have been 07 firms having the 2nd partner. Many enterprises have finished affirming their value as well as evaluating methods of land use and transformation, etc.
In short, the implementation of enterprise arrangement and renovation has been slowly working due to obstructing by matters related to land, contracted households, and possession on the land.

Addressing at the meeting, comrade Y Dham Enuol stressed that the progress of enterprise arrangement and renovation has been very slow. It should consider criticizing collectives, individuals that did not work properly. All disputes need to be directly suggested to Provincial Committee for Enterprise Renovation and Development for solving. Moreover, steps of evaluation need to be well done, especially appraisal work, land use planning.
