On the morning of September 5, Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted held the opening ceremony for the 2020-2021 academic year with the participation of Mr. Pham Minh Tan, Executive Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, leader of the Department of Education and Training.

In the 2019-2020 school year, Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted has achieved and exceeded the set targets, successfully completed the tasks of the school year. In the 2020 National Contest, Nguyen Du High School achieved 35 prizes, up 3 prizes compared to the 2018-2019 school year. This is the third consecutive year the school maintains the leading position compared to high schools for the Gifted in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands provinces. Notably, in the last school year, one student participated in the final round of Olympia contest organized by Vietnam Television and won the third prize, etc. With its achievements, the school was awarded the Flag “leading the emulation”.
