There will also be exhibitions and experiences with Vietnamese specialty coffee prepared using various methods, including Espresso, Phin, V60, etc. Furthermore, the event will facilitate sharing and connecting the Vietnamese specialty coffee community, cupping the top 10 coffees (Arabica and Robusta) from the Vietnam Amazing Cup 2023 competition, and sharing stories of pioneering specialty coffee businesses in Da Nang.

The event will include a seminar with pioneering specialty coffee business figures in Da Nang.

The participating units showcasing their specialty products include: Hoa Linh Coffee Cooperative; Pró Tourism Co., Ltd. (Pró Farm); Phan Em Coffee; Ho Viet Phu Coffee; Tai Duc Service and Trading Co., Ltd.; I Forest Sustainable Farm (I Forest Coffee); Pun Coffee Co., Ltd.

"The Vietnamese Specialty Coffee Competition - Vietnam Amazing Cup" is an annual competition organized by the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association. Its purpose is to discover and honor batches of specialty coffee, thereby connecting producers with roasters and consumers, contributing to creating a transparent market, and adding value to the entire coffee chain, from farms to brewed coffee, motivating all involved parties to focus more on quality, and elevating the position of Vietnamese coffee quality.

From 2019 to 2023, through five "Vietnamese Specialty Coffee Competitions - Vietnam Amazing Cup," hundreds of units have participated in the competition with hundreds of batches of coffee meeting specialty standards. Many events for introduction, promotion, exchange, and connection have been organized in major domestic markets, as well as participation in promotional events for specialty coffee worldwide (USA, Italy, Japan, South Korea, etc.).

The Vietnamese Specialty Coffee Competition 2023 includes the participation of 47 units from 7 coffee-growing provinces across the country, with 84 samples/batches competing, totaling 183 tons of coffee, including 120.8 tons of Robusta and 61.9 tons of Arabica.

After the results of the Vietnamese Specialty Coffee Competition 2023 are announced, the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association will collaborate with Simexco DakLak (a company of Dak Lak Import-Export 2-9 Co., Ltd.) to organize the first auction for 7 batches of "Vietnamese Specialty Coffee" (6 batches of Robusta and 1 batch of Arabica) that scored 80 points or above at the Vietnamese Specialty Coffee Competition 2023.

The auction will have the participation of 20 units, including roasters and domestic and international coffee buyers. At the auction, the batches of specialty coffee have been successfully sold at prices ranging from 310,000 to 430,000 VND/kg, which is approximately 6-8 times higher than the commercial coffee price at the same time. Although this is a trial auction, it has been highly successful, affirming the value of Vietnamese specialty coffee.

The first auction of specialty coffee batches in Vietnam aims to directly connect domestic and international roasters with farmers and specialty coffee producers, commercializing the batches participating in the Vietnamese Specialty Coffee Competition. This will add value to Vietnamese specialty coffee and motivate coffee growers to focus on improving the quality of their products.
