The week "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnam's Cultural Heritage," the 2nd Ritual Bamboo Pole Day and Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Exchange of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups in 2023, is a practical activity to preserve and promote the tradition of national unity. The event honors the cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups, strengthens practical cultural, sports, and tourism exchanges to celebrate the 93rd Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2023) and commemorate the Day of Vietnam's Cultural Heritage (November 23). It also honors the spirit of national unity as a precious tradition and cultural heritage of our nation, forged through thousands of years of nation-building and defense.

The festival, showcasing the Ritual Bamboo Pole and cultural, sports, and tourism exchanges of Vietnamese ethnic groups for the second time in 2023, aims to honor the beautiful traditional cultural values in the unified and diverse cultural foundation of the 54 ethnic communities. It emphasizes the need to inherit and practice culture for the preservation and promotion of the traditional cultural heritage values of Vietnamese ethnic groups. Alongside this are mass arts festivals, traditional ethnic costume displays, introductions to excerpts of festivals and traditional cultural activities associated with the bamboo pole in localities, exhibitions and introductions of local traditional cultural heritage, and the processing and introduction of local cuisine.
