Province Leaders Visit and Congratulate Buddhist Establishments on the Occasion of Vesak Day 2024 (28/05/2024, 11:14)

On the occasion of Vesak Day 2568 - 2024, on the morning of May 17th, a delegation from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee, led by Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Committee Office Nguyen Tien Dung, visited and congratulated several Buddhist establishments in the province.

Joining the delegation were representatives from various units: Permanent Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee, Department of Construction, Department of Home Affairs, and Provincial Police.

The delegation visited and congratulated: Pho Minh Pagoda, Ngoc Thanh Monastery, Ngoc Quang Monastery, and the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Cư M’gar District - Hoa Nghiem Pagoda.

During the visits, on behalf of the delegation, Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Committee Office Nguyen Tien Dung inquired about the health and conveyed joyful Vesak Day greetings to the venerables, monks, nuns, Buddhist followers, and officials. At the same time, he acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions of the monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers to the building, strengthening of national unity, socio-economic development, and ensuring local security and defense and social welfare in the locality in recent times…

The delegation expressed the hope that in the coming time, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, uphold the tradition of "good life - beautiful path," and closely accompany the people in building and developing Dak Lak Province steadily and sustainably.

The delegation visited and congratulated the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Cu M’gar District - Hoa Nghiem Pagoda.

Representatives of Buddhist establishments expressed their gratitude to the provincial leaders for their attention and facilitation of favorable conditions for Buddhist activities in the area. At the same time, they affirmed that in the future, the entire Buddhist community, monks, nuns, and followers will continue to uphold the beautiful traditions, always coordinate and accompany the government and people in the construction and development of the province towards prosperity and strength.
