On the afternoon of December 19, the Central Party Committee's Secretariat held a nationwide online conference to summarize the Party's inspection, supervision, and discipline work in 2024 and to deploy tasks for 2025.
Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Party Committee, attended and directed the conference. Also present were members of the Politburo, Secretaries of the Central Party, Central Party Committee members, representatives of the standing committees of the Party committees, and the Central Inspection Committee; as well as various departments and units of the Central Inspection Committee.

Attendees at the conference from Dak Lak province included Comrade Ho Duy Thanh, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee; Deputy Heads and members of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee; Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of district, town, city, and provincial Party committees.
he report presented at the conference indicated that in 2024, the Central Party Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and Party committees at all levels consistently focused on leadership, direction, and direct implementation of inspection and supervision work with a high political determination. The system of regulations and processes regarding the Party's inspection, supervision, and discipline work continued to be refined. This has enabled Party committees and Inspection Committees at all levels to more effectively implement their tasks as stipulated in the Party's Charter; timely issuing and organizing the implementation of the inspection and supervision program and plan for 2024.

The results of the inspection, supervision, and discipline enforcement tasks of the Party show that in 2024, Party committees at all levels inspected 55,075 Party organizations and 308,028 Party members, of which Party committees at all levels inspected 344 Party organizations and 2,379 Party members when there were signs of violations. The inspections concluded that 233 Party organizations had violations, necessitating disciplinary action against 98 Party organizations, and 1,934 Party members violated regulations, with disciplinary action taken against 1,326 Party members.
Inspection Committees at all levels inspected 3,133 Party organizations and 8,123 Party members for signs of violations; they also inspected the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks for 33,546 Party organizations and the enforcement of discipline for 18,649 Party organizations.

Party committees at all levels supervised 42,843 Party organizations and 148,632 Party members. Inspection Committees at all levels supervised 30,173 Party organizations and 41,730 Party members. Party committees at all levels resolved complaints involving 6 Party organizations and 115 Party members. Inspection Committees at all levels received 25,401 complaint letters regarding Party organizations and Party members, resolving complaints for 31 Party organizations and 863 Party members.
Based on the results achieved, the Central Inspection Committee has set forth several important tasks for 2025. Accordingly, Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Committees at all levels, especially leaders, must further enhance their awareness and responsibility regarding inspection and supervision work; continue to strictly implement the regulations, rules, and guidelines of the Central Party Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Inspection Committee regarding inspection, supervision, and Party discipline; strengthen leadership, direction, and guidance for lower-level Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Committees in carrying out inspection, supervision, and Party discipline work; and promptly review, amend, supplement, and refine mechanisms, regulations, guidelines, and processes regarding the Party's inspection, supervision, and discipline work to ensure coherence, rigor, and alignment with the new organizational model of the Party after restructuring, meeting the requirements of the tasks set forth …

During the conference, Comrade To Lam – General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the Party Committees and the Inspection Committees at all levels in recent times. He emphasized that the period from now until the end of the term is crucial for completing the tasks outlined in the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, the Resolution 18 of the Central Committee of the 12th term regarding the restructuring of the political system to be streamlined, effective, and efficient, as well as the Central Resolutions on building and rectifying the Party; and preparing for the congresses of Party organizations at all levels leading up to the 14th Party Congress.
Therefore, the General Secretary requested that the Party Committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Committees at all levels continue to implement synchronized preventive measures against violations and negative behaviors; strictly handle violations based on the principle that “if there are violations, they must be concluded and dealt with,” “there are no exceptions or areas beyond scrutiny”; and enhance the construction of a clean and strong Party to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
The General Secretary urged for the urgent restructuring and streamlining of the Inspection Committee apparatus to ensure synchronization, unity, and to be streamlined, strong, effective, and efficient in meeting new task requirements. The Central Inspection Committee should promptly research and review to advise on timely amendments and supplements to the Party's regulations on inspection and supervision, in accordance with the new organizational model of the Party across the country, ensuring proper authority, functions, and tasks; continue to innovate the methods and approaches to inspection and supervision; and promote digital transformation and the application of information technology to further enhance the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Party's inspection, supervision, and discipline work.
