On the afternoon of March 9th, Tay Nguyen Eye Hospital held a ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary of establishment (2014-2024). Attending the event were Mrs. H’Yim Kdoh - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders from departments, sectors, officials, doctors, staff, and partners.

Tay Nguyen Eye Hospital was established on March 7, 2014, with the mission of "Helping people access high-quality medical services at reasonable costs." It is the first private eye hospital in the five provinces of the Central Highlands.

By 2024, the hospital has three departments and four rooms, with a scale of 60 inpatient beds and nearly 100 personnel, including 13 doctors and staff with college and university degrees - meeting the healthcare needs of the people. With modern infrastructure and a team of doctors continuously improving their professional expertise and skills through continuous learning and training, the Hospital has established its brand and become known to the people in the five provinces of the Central Highlands over its 10 years of construction and development.

Over the past 10 years of formation and development, Tay Nguyen Eye Hospital has implemented most advanced techniques in the world and achieved the following results: 1 million examinations and treatments; 30,000 cataract surgeries; 25,000 eyelid surgeries; 10,000 LASIK surgeries for refractive errors; 10,000 surgeries for strabismus, ptosis, and entropion, etc.

With the development orientation of "Efficiency, Accuracy, Convenience, Promptness, and Friendliness," Tay Nguyen Eye Hospital has expanded its VIP examination area, VIP inpatient rooms, and free head washing spa area for surgical patients, continuously striving to provide the best quality for all customers when they come for examination and treatment.

In addition to medical examination and treatment, the Hospital also actively participates in social activities such as: free medical examinations, gift-giving, providing health insurance cards for people in difficult circumstances, voluntary blood donation, donating charity houses in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. H’Yim Kdoh - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the contribution of Tay Nguyen Eye Hospital to the people's healthcare. Along with the public healthcare system, the Hospital has performed well in medical examination and treatment and social security. Thus, people in Dak Lak province, in particular, and the Central Highlands provinces, in general, have the opportunity to access and choose to enjoy modern healthcare services for examination and treatment.

Vice Chairwoman H’Yim Kdoh emphasized that in the context of limited public investment resources and overload in public hospitals, the development of the private healthcare system with the role of resource sharing has significantly contributed to the people's healthcare in the area, helping people have more choices in accessing healthcare services, especially to benefit from new, high-quality technical services… In the coming time, she requested the Hospital to uphold its achievements, continue to enhance professional capacity training for the medical team, modernize infrastructure, accompany the authorities in social security work, epidemic prevention, healthcare, and jointly care for people's health.

The Provincial People's Committee of Dak Lak province will always support and guide relevant sectors to accompany and create favorable conditions for Tay Nguyen Eye Hospital, as well as other private healthcare facilities in the area, to develop in the spirit of equality and in accordance with the law.
