On the morning of October 11, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Dak Lak organized the 26th Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee Meeting to consider and provide opinions on various important matters. The conference was attended by Central Party Committee members, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thi Chien Hoa; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak Province Y Giang Gry Nie Knong; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, and representatives of relevant departments and agencies in the province.

At the conference, delegates spent a lot of time considering and providing opinions on the draft report on the situation and results of implementing the tasks of economic and social development, ensuring national defense and security, building the Party, and the political system in the first 9 months of 2024 and the key tasks for the last 3 months of 2024. Accordingly, 2024 is a year of great significance with many major events, especially the 120th anniversary of the establishment of Dak Lak Province. Therefore, from the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, and the relevant levels and sectors have focused on leading and directing the effective implementation of the set tasks and plans.

In the first 9 months of 2024, the province's socio-economic situation continued to maintain a stable development, with most indicators showing significant growth. Compared to the same period in 2023, the total value of products in the province reached over 84,029.9 billion VND, an increase of 12.25%; the total social investment capital mobilized reached 25,576 billion VND, an increase of 3.55%; the total retail sales of goods and service revenue reached over 81,005 billion VND, an increase of 11.7%; the total state budget revenue in the province reached 6,208 billion VND, an increase of 10.8%, accounting for 73% of the provincial People's Council's estimate; the total export turnover reached 1,440 million USD, an increase of 29.2%; the province had 1,084 newly established enterprises, an increase of 0.6%; the tourism sector experienced significant growth, with total tourism revenue reaching 970 billion VND, an increase of 19.02%...

Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha provided information on the results of the tasks in the first 9 months of the year and the direction for the last 3 months of 2024.

Agricultural production continued to develop steadily, with favorable weather conditions and good prices, contributing to the sustainable development and promotion of the province's agriculture. The Winter-Spring crop production exceeded 20% of the set plan. The program to build new rural areas has been actively implemented, with 79 out of 151 communes reaching all 19 criteria for new rural areas, reaching 52.32%, and 5 communes reaching the advanced new rural area standards, along with 01 district-level unit reaching the advanced new rural area standards.

Cultural, sports, employment, social security, and poverty reduction activities continued to be implemented and ensured the people's livelihoods, highlighted by the completion of 1,200 houses for disadvantaged households in the province. Land, mineral, and environmental resource management received special attention. Administrative reform showed positive changes. National defense was strengthened, ensuring sovereignty, territory, and border security.

The work of Party building and the construction of the political system continued to be implemented and met the requirements in the new situation; the province has admitted 1,879 new Party members, bringing the total number of Party members in the provincial Party Committee to 88,904 comrades. The activities of the government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and political-social organizations have shown positive changes. In addition to the achievements, the implementation process of the tasks in the first 9 months of 2024 has encountered some difficulties. The total value of industrial production is lower than the province's growth target. The production of some key industrial products in the province has decreased compared to the same period. Business production and operations are still facing many challenges. There are still many dissolved and suspended businesses (accounting for 79% of newly established businesses). Land use fees are low, affecting the implementation of investment projects funded by the provincial budget. The security and order situation in some areas has become complex at times. There are still many violations of social order and safety laws, forest laws, and traffic safety. The development of party members in some localities is still low. Understanding and addressing the aspirations of the people is sometimes not timely or deep enough.
