The 5th International Workshop on Economics, Business, and Finance (13/11/2023, 10:50)

On November 3, Tay Nguyen University collaborated with Sofia University (Bulgaria), Hue University of Economics, and Can Tho University to organize the 5th International Workshop on Economics, Business, and Finance.

The workshop was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Yovogan Marceline - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration - Sofia University, Bulgaria, Associate Professor Dr. Truong Tan Quan - Rector of Hue University of Economics, Associate Professor Dr. Phan Anh Tu - Deputy Rector of Can Tho University, and 150 delegates from major universities nationwide.

The conference was divided into three sessions covering topics such as economics, business administration - marketing, and finance - accounting to further clarify various related issues.

In addition, nearly 70 articles from scholars and researchers from both domestic and international sources were submitted to the workshop, focusing on exchanging and discussing content related to the development of the financial market; researching the relationship between poverty alleviation, diversity in consumerism, and food safety in rural Vietnamese households; discussing intercropping coffee and other crops in Dak Lak.

Two institutions signed a cooperation agreement

In his opening speech, Associate Professor Le Duc Niem - Vice Rector of Tay Nguyen University emphasized that the workshop would be a forum for scientists, researchers, and lecturers to exchange and discuss economic, financial, and business issues, while proposing necessary policies for the economic development of enterprises. With positive contributions from scientists, researchers, and lecturers from universities nationwide, it is hoped that the economy of the Central Highlands region and the whole country will make progress and adapt to the new context.

On this occasion, Tay Nguyen University and Sofia University, Bulgaria signed a cooperation agreement with the following contents: academic exchange, exchange of lecturers and students; cooperation in scientific research and implementation of research projects to call for funding from Bulgaria's government research funding program for Vietnam, and other sponsorships; coordination in organizing scientific conferences, workshops; developing university training programs recognized in both countries (Bulgaria and Vietnam).
