On December 19, the delegation of the National Assembly of Dak Lak Province, led by Deputy Head of the delegation and Director of the Department of Education and Training, Le Thi Thanh Xuan, visited and presented flowers and gifts to congratulate the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 – December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 – December 22, 2024.

During the visit to the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Head of the delegation and Director of the Department of Education and Training, Comrade Le Thi Thanh Xuan, congratulated the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command and the entire military force on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the heroic Vietnam People's Army. She expressed her hope that the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command would continue to advise the province in effectively carrying out local military and national defense tasks, thereby further enhancing the glorious and heroic traditions of the Vietnam People's Army.

During the visit to the Provincial Border Guard Command, Comrade Le Thi Thanh Xuan and the delegation praised the achievements and contributions of the Provincial Border Guard in safeguarding national border security, stabilizing the border area, and implementing social welfare work.

Comrade Le Thi Thanh Xuan expressed her hope that in the future, the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command would continue to closely coordinate with functional forces stationed in the area; actively advise local party committees and authorities to promote economic development; link the construction of a people's border defense posture with the national defense and people's security posture in the border area, and pay attention to assisting the local ethnic communities in gradually overcoming difficulties and stabilizing their lives. 

On this occasion, the delegation of the National Assembly of Dak Lak Province also sent a flower bouquet and gifts to congratulate the Command of Military Region 5.
