On the morning of October 3, at the meeting hall of the Krong Ana District Party Committee, Delegation No. 2 of the Provincial People's Council of Dak Lak province, led by Deputy Head of the delegation in charge of the Provincial People's Council, Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan, had a meeting with over 180 voters in Krong Ana district prior to the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.

Attending the meeting were Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kdoh; leaders of departments, agencies, units, and relevant localities.
At the meeting, representatives of the Provincial People's Council delegation reported to the voters the program and expected content of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, the topics and issues that the National Assembly will discuss and decide on during the session.

Accordingly, the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to take place over 27 days, opening on October 21, 2024, and closing on November 30, 2024. The session will be conducted in two phases (Phase 1 from October 21 to November 13, 2024; Phase 2 from November 20 to November 30, 2024). During this session, the National Assembly will consider and approve 16 laws, 2 resolutions; provide opinions on 12 draft laws; review and decide on economic, social, and state budget issues, supervision, and other important matters.

The voter meeting also recorded 17 opinions and proposals from voters, including: requesting the acceleration of the construction progress of the Provincial Road 2 section passing through Ea Bong commune; paying attention to the investment in the construction of a community bridge from Buon Krong, Dur Kmal commune to Buon M'Lieng, Dak Lieng commune, Lak district; investing in the construction of a community bridge connecting from Quynh Ngoc ferry terminal, Ea Na commune to Buon Choah commune, Krong No district, Dak Nong province, as it is currently in serious disrepair; strengthening management, inspection, and additional research on regulations and sanctions for the production and trading of counterfeit goods, plant protection drugs, fake fertilizers, and poor quality products; expediting the process of issuing land use certificates to residents in Bang Adrenh commune; paying attention to investing in a power system for the people of Ea Na commune...

In addition, voters also proposed that the Ministry of Education and Training should study and issue unified and standardized textbooks nationwide, as the current practice of each locality applying its own set of textbooks has led to frequent changes in textbooks. At the same time, textbooks for students in one locality cannot be purchased and used in another locality, resulting in significant waste. Voters also suggested that the Ministry of Education and Training study and consider solutions to reduce the price of textbooks to be more suitable for the actual conditions; relevant levels and sectors continue to pay attention to supporting the regime for village and hamlet officials, commune-level officials, and civil servants...

The opinions and proposals of the voters were directly responded to by Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Council delegation, Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan, and leaders of the departments: Transport; Internal Affairs; Natural Resources and Environment; Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Dak Lak Power Company and the Krong Ana District People's Committee, with the basic content meeting the requirements of the voters. For opinions and proposals that exceed the authority to resolve, the Provincial People's Council delegation will fully summarize and report them to the National Assembly and the central ministries and agencies in the upcoming session.
