The first export of a batch of bananas to Mongolia (30/08/2024, 09:16)

On August 28th, Banana Brothers Farm Joint Stock Company (in M'Drak district) organized a ceremony to officially export the first batch of bananas to the Mongolian market.

The event was attended by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van, along with representatives from departments, localities, and relevant businesses.

The delegates witnessed the first batch of bananas being prepared for official export to Mongolia.

This event is the result of the business connection program between Dak Lak province and Mongolian enterprises, as well as the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee and the Orkhon Province Government (Mongolia). The shipment, weighing 20 tons, was directly exported to Mongolian partners.

Ms. Le Thi My Hanh - CEO of Banana Brothers Farm Joint Stock Company, stated that the company has over 100 hectares of banana plantations, with an average annual output of 10,000 tons, exporting 400-500 containers to China, South Korea, and Japan. Currently, there is a high demand in the global market, particularly in Mongolia and neighboring countries, which have great potential and strict requirements for quality and pesticide residue. However, the company is fully capable of meeting these demands.

The delegates visited the banana storage warehouse for export.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van stated that the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee and the Orkhon Province Government (Mongolia) have recently signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, focusing on implementing exchange programs, cultural exchanges, economic cooperation in tourism, promoting agricultural products and handicrafts, sharing information, providing support, advice, and connecting businesses between the two provinces.

The export of the first batch of bananas to Mongolia is a significant effort by the business. In the future, the province will accompany and support businesses in exporting bananas and other key agricultural products, aiming to increase the value of local agricultural products and improve income for the people and businesses.
