On December 19, the People's Council of Cu Kuin District, Term IV, 2021 - 2026, convened its Ninth Session to evaluate the socio-economic development situation, ensure national defense and security for the year 2024, and implement the objectives and tasks for the year 2025.
The report presented at the session indicated that, despite facing numerous difficulties and challenges, the socio-economic situation of the district has developed steadily. The total production value at current prices reached 11,428 billion VND, achieving 102.52% of the annual plan, and increasing by 9.3% compared to the same period in 2023. The average production value per capita (at current prices) reached 109.69 million VND/person/year, achieving 101.78% of the plan, and increasing by 19.22% compared to the same period. The total social investment reached 1,860 billion VND, achieving 120% of the plan, and increasing by 36.76% compared to the same period. The state budget revenue reached 151.9 billion VND, estimated at 117.8% of the provincial plan and 82.1% of the district plan, equivalent to 119.51% compared to the same period.

The implementation of basic construction investment projects has been carried out promptly and in accordance with procedures, ensuring quality and timelines. The land clearance for key projects has met the schedule. The planning and management of investment in infrastructure development and urban development have been prioritized. The administrative reform has shown significant positive changes.
The rural development program has received attention, with seven communes in the district meeting 19 new rural criteria; the remaining commune (Cu Ewi) has met 15 criteria. Cultural, artistic, sports activities, and humanitarian and charitable work have been actively implemented. National defense and military tasks have been ensured, and the political security and social order situation in the district remain stable.

During the session, delegates also reviewed and evaluated various proposals and reports on the implementation of the state budget estimate and allocation for the year 2024; the budget estimate and allocation for the year 2025; the implementation of the public investment plan for 2024 and the public investment plan for 2025; reports from the People's Court, the People's Procuracy, and the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of the district; and the proposal to adjust and supplement the medium-term public investment plan for Cư Kuin District for the period 2021 - 2025 from local budget sources
In discussions at the session, delegates proposed several solutions and tasks for the upcoming period: focusing on developing the agricultural sector of the district towards concentrated production, large-scale, high-tech application linked with organized production, according to value chains to enhance efficiency and added value; urging the progress of projects, operating activities in industrial clusters, ensuring operations in 2025; strongly developing high-value-added service types; completing the general planning project for the new urban area of Dray Bhang by 2045; enhancing the effectiveness and satisfaction of citizens in administrative procedures; focusing on budget revenue collection, striving to complete the assigned budget estimate.

The session also proceeded to relieve Mr. Le The Thong from the position of Member of the District People's Committee, Term IV, 2021 - 2026, due to a transfer of work; simultaneously, Mr. Pham Cong Thanh, Head of the District Department of Culture and Information, was elected to the position of Member of the District People's Committee, Term IV, 2021 - 2026.
In his directive speech at the session, Secretary of the District Party Committee Phuc Binh Nie Kđam emphasized that based on the assessment of the situation and practical conditions, the recent meeting of the District Party Committee's Executive Board has issued a resolution to lead the implementation of tasks for 2025, setting forth 24 key target groups with a very high political determination. The tasks ahead are substantial, requiring solidarity, effort, determination, and unity from the entire political system.

To ensure that the resolutions of the District People's Council are promptly implemented, immediately after the session, the District People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the District People's Council, and the specialized agencies of the District People's Committee will urgently organize the effective implementation of the resolutions of the session, continue to concretize and bring the Party's policies into practice; striving to complete and achieve the highest possible level of the tasks and targets set forth in the Resolution of the Fourth District Party Congress
